I hope this isnt just me

i noticed this a couple of days ago, and havent seen a recent patch download, so:

my pet seems to be losing 2hp rather than 1hp when attacked by mobs
i find this very irritating to have to spend a fortune using tool aids to get enough herbs for a decent hunt session

comments or answers please

I have just been reading about pets and on the main site it says a pet cant attack in combat, but can be attacked. If this is the case what are pets for, and what benefits do they have?

whent the pets lvl they get technical points which can be used to add defence and attack and some other stuff

yes they can be attacked, but it also says on the website that they should only ever lose 1HP at a time.

I am wondering why my pet is losing 2HP at a time instead
I recently turned lvl 41 but dont see the relevence to pets

Havn't noticed the 2 hp problem. Sometimes a lil lag can make it seem more then what it is being hit for.

Pets can't fight in combat. They do assist the player with passives. The happier your pet is with you (sympathy) the more of that passive is passed on to the player. Later on, you can fight with a mounted pet.

When your pet is starving or close to starving, mobs can do 2 hits on the pet.

i thought it might be that

i mustve spent so much reviving my stupid donkey all because the mobs are hitting twice as much
