This time more in depth understanding of weapon modification. How to fine tune your weapon to bring out the best performance. <b>Warning:</b> It is expensive to maintain your level 3 weapon and fine tune it. Be prepared to fork out $$$. In addition to weapon, you will also need to synthesize more <i>potent</i> Special Items. I find Hua To's Tea invaluable for restoring life as it yields meat buns in time of need. Yup, your general knocks blocks off your life bar. By the time he/she's done with a C4 and you are still standing, you are in need of meat buns.
Running back to base for a recharge is not an option, since time taken = Quest fail.
Hua To's Tea to the rescue. Run towards any group of peons and they will yield meat buns.
Them peons are closer than running all the way back to base. And meat buns heals by the blocks versus base's tick by tick healing.

If you are not standing there after your general does a C4 or greater combo, then your not ready for this quest. Like your life bar is too short or your defense stat is too weak. Better do more quest to improve your domestics and earn some more honor points.

Upon earning 2000 honor points you will be promoted regardless. So why the fuss over defeating your commanding general? hrm... Only Koei knows the answer.
