Why do you fight? Is it for pride? Glory? Fame? Whatever the reasons may be we are pleased to announce that the WT Tournament Of Champions is returning once again to challenge you at a chance to claim all of the above! Put your skills to the ultimate test in this challenging month long event! Many will enter but only ONE will be able to claim themselves as the BEST player in wolf time for the first season of play this year. This will be a long road! So if you are serious about getting involved in this tournament you will need to dedicate yourself and make time to compete. There will be prizes per round as well as HUGE prizes for the Grand Prize finals! Here are the details for how this one will go down.
Getting into the end of the month Grand prize match:
There will be two ways to enter into this tournament. One is by purchasing a ticket which will be setup through the web item mall. There will be a total of 74 tickets available for purchase while supplies last. The prices may increase on these tickets as well as the month progresses so it may in your best interest to purchase one earlier than latter in this case. If you do purchase this ticket you will be automatically placed in the Grand Prize finals matches to be held on April 30th. You will receive Instructions via PM on the forums here on when and where to report to for the 30th matches. So please latter in the month pay attention to your PM's here. We cannot be held responsible for those who do not show up because they failed to follow the instructions given in the PM's.
The second way to get into the grand prize finals will be to play in daily qualifying matches run on a daily basis in the game. Here are the details on how the in game qualifying and weekend semi finals matches will go.
Qualifying:
Starting Monday April 4th Monday through Fridays up to April 22nd we will host in game Death Match rooms 8V8 on a randomly picked map for the day. You can join only once per mini tournament session. We will eliminate players after the first match is completed taking the top 4 players with the best KDR into the next battle in the same room. We will then drop this down to 2 for a final showdown and take the player with the best KDR to the semi finals games to be run on Saturdays. The times that we will hold these qualifying matches will be as follows.
All games will be run in Channel 4
12PM to about 12:30PM
12:45PM to about 1:10PM
5PM to about 5:30PM
5:45 to about 6:10PM
Semi Finals Matches on Saturdays:
If you have made it to these matches you will receive PM's through the forums here with instructions on where to meet up and all room details. Please pay attention to this so you do not miss the scheduled times for these match ups. We will be running 2 5V5 Death Matches on a randomly selected map for both matches. The top player with the best KDR from both these matches will be placed into the grand prize matches to be run on April 30th. Three weekends of this will accumulate 6 total top players to go into the Grand Prize finals matches. The set time will be as follows bellow, all other information again will come to you via PM here on the forums.
All games will be run in Channel 4

GRAND PRIZE FINALS!!
The grand prize finals will feature a total of SIX 5 V 5 death matches to be run in a single day. The first 5 matches we will take the top 2 into the final sixth match. This will give us one final 5 V 5 match that the top three players will earn the grand prizes. Again all information will be sent to you via PM here on the forums. We will most likely have at least 4 GM's helping to run these matches so that we don't go over a hour to finish this up. The set time on April 30th for these matches is listed bellow.

Other Rules:
-You may only try to qualify once per game session.
-If you qualify for the weekend semi finals rounds you do not need to continue to qualify. However if you lose and do not advance to the Grand Prize finals games you can try to qualify again after in the up coming weeks next qualifying rounds.
-All guns and items will be permitted.(don't complain! get AP and buy anything you feel you may need to give yourself the edge over the competition! It will be fierce!)
-If a player fails to show up for a weekend semi finals match or a grand prize finals match we may ask a GS or have another GM to join to fill the spot to even the teams up.
-GS's are permitted to compete.
-If you are caught hacking or cheating you will be punished accordingly.
-Make sure you are available to compete at the times listed for the full tournament! We will not wait for you or let you have a make up match. Plan on freeing up at least 3 hours for all matches to be on the safe side.
Prizes!!!!
Prizes are still TBD but will be announced by tournament start date April 4th here. There will be prizes for advancing into each round as well as the Grand Prize prizes so stay tuned for these listings.
