How do I, can I, what should I, can you suggest........??

for all those little problems
When you have questions, but don't know who to ask, instead of starting new threads just post them in here, and somebody's bound to answer them (accurately, I hope !!) To start things off....

My TK has got both Advanced Weaponsmith and Advanced Armorsmith, so he can make and upgrade his own gear. The thing is....

1) where are the instructions for making/upgrading in-game ??
2) can I make/upgrade gear for my other toons too ??
3) can I make/upgrade gear to sell to other players ??

yeah you can craft armor for any class also armor smiting has nothing to do with upgrading pretty straight forward get the book for what part you wanna make find the items then once you have the items and the book you click create or something along those lines and oh yeah pray it don't fail

Yeah ok, I just thought that instead of hunting around trying to find answers to problems, if there was a thread where general questions could be asked and answers given would be easier, especially for noobs (who might not know about the other sections, or what they're for).

Instructions (or you can find them in the in game help)

The books are dropable from mobs(till level 72). Level 95-97 stuff are dropable from spirit cave(trivia canion), books in the quanian cave.
Or you can get High level and get the crafting.

The Aeria Games website's guide to upgrading is very bare (lacks many details). The Wetpaint Wiki site's guide, while more detailed, is rather basic. Links to both of them can however be found in Giovanna's Guide to Upgrading, which is, if I must say so myself (I don't believe in false modesty, which I view as a type of hypocrisy), superior to both of those.

All of these links can be found (directly or indirectly) by going to Sundry Bits of Information (A Guide for the Perplexed). I highly recommend that you bookmark this and consult it when you have a question or concern about anything LC-related or Aeria-related.

Let me be the first to congratulate you, for making something as simple as upgrading, into something as complex as your post.

The guides i gave him are out of date, but they contain all the information he wanted. There is a term in mathematics called optimization.

To the readers of this post, I encourage you to look and sticky (or book mark) GIO's post. It is lengthy, yes, but she took a lot of time and effort pulling all the resources together. Its a pretty broad spectrum that covers many topics, and loads of info.
