i think this goes for most pc's
when you start up your pc right after the start before windows actualy boots up, hit F8. if correct you should get a little "dos"menu with the question how you want to start up your pc (normal, save or vga mode)
no i do not provide "the corrupt file" all files i provide are files as they are provided by aeria. everybody can get those files from the updater if they know how and where to look. I do not have or had a update problem ever for this game and are only trying to provide a service for thise that DO have problems, you are in no way obliged to use the files i offer.
anyways, another methode that is said to be working

I too have tried that and it failed, but i found something that works.
Find someone, a friend mainly, and this is very simple (if you use teamspeak) have your friend who has already updated to Heavenly Strike successfully upload the DWOnlineLchr.bin to the teamspeak, then you download, it is much faster than megaupload.
just replace the old one with the new one, then update like normal.
Then, Voila! you have the update!!

I have not tryed this methode, i have asked him for some more info (how far was his DWO updated already and such) but did not yet got a reply. Anyway for those willing to give it a try, the file in question can be found at
DWOnlineLchr.zip
this file is comming from my own installation
