Grand Fantasia Won't Start

Ever since the February 22nd patch, I haven't been able to get Grand Fantasia to start up at all. The Launcher loads up and updates just fine, but whenever I press the Start button, the Launcher locks up for a bit, then my computer acts like it's loading, and when it stops, there's still nothing up. It was working fine before the patch while I was playing, so it has to be something wrong in the recent patch right? I've seen that some other people have had this same issue because of this patch. I've tried a hard delete, uninstalling and reinstalling, and manual patching, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have other methods that I could try, preferably surefire ones?

Its fine, just repair it

How do u will do this?
First u go to the folder where u downloaded the game then search for a configuration options named "LuncherMod", open it and search for "Connect Mode, change it from 1 to 3 then search for "OPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT" then change the 5 fo a 25 then search for "OPT_TIMEOUT" and change the number 60 to 600 or higher number, then save and try to fully scan. To do this search for a batch files in the same folder named "UPgradeClient_Full_Check, open it and will apear a configuration window, dont do nothing and it will open the grand fantasia full check.

Try this andif it wont works try to contact a GS or GM.

Actually crastotal's fix only applies when the patcher doesn't work.

In this case it's either caused by your anti-virus or your system. Try (re)adding GF to your anti-virus safelist. And could you, if the problem persists, post your dxdiag?

Same bllsht
I have the same stuff. I changed everything you guys said.

Before the patch I couldn't play either. But I still could see a black screen with an error. I had some error (81) or something. Tried everything to fix it. (new download, new install, manual patch)

Does anyone know what to do?
Sorry for the off topic part.

I have the same problem.

I just recently redownloaded GF onto my laptop.
I changed the things in the "Lunchmod" file and ran a full scan. I've restarted my laptop and everything.
When I press Start on the launcher the launcher closes, then the comp acts like it loading yet does nothing after it's done. I've checked my processes and it says that GF is running, but only using 2-5k of my memory.
I think it may have something to do with this "Aeria Ignite" thing you guys have added. Before you added that, the game worked perfectly for me, and now that it launches, I cannot get on the game.

If I purr like a cat, climb trees like a cat, and hiss and scratch like a cat, am I a cat?

Uninstall Ignite, Akamai Netsession Interface (a hidden program ignite installs) and GF, then re-download from one of these listed mirrors to play the game without Ignite getting in the way Smile
