On March 10
Elite Co-op Instances
The Dragon Palace, Temple of Worship, Undead Tower and Elven Hut will gain new Elite/Boss instances which players team up to challenge together once per day. The Boss instance can only be accessed by earning keys through the Elite instance. Members of the Teams who successfully challenge Elite or BOSS levels will receive equipment rewards and other new items, based on the number of people per team. Members of the team can decide ownership of the dropped items by rollinCommg a die.
* Mercenary Heroes can be temporarily recruited in the Refugee Camp. Player can employ heroes to siege other player’s castles.
* Both players and Guilds can employ Mercenary Heroes. Only Guild leaders or vice guild leaders can employ hero.
* Employing Heroes does not consume Action Points
* Common heroes that player can employ have 3 levels; the total points of all 4 attributes of Epic Heroes for Guilds is 1050
* Heroes employed by players can siege castles for 3 hours; heroes employed by guilds can siege castles for 6 hours.
* Employed heroes can arrive at target location immediately, however employed hero battles are automatic. The employed hero will disappear when he is killed or runs out of time
* Minimum Gold for employed heroes by players is 200000; min Gold for employed heroes by guilds is 2000000
* Player Mercenary Heroes cannot be used against opponents if you have more than 5x their fame.
Each player will be able to choose a Command Style in their Town Hall to change their castle’s focus: Militant、Prolific, or Preventative.
* Militant: increase unit training speed, increase movement speed on the world map, increase resources that can be plundered, increase plundered resources, and reduce wounded units transfer ratio
* Prolific：increase production of all resources
* Preventative: reduce plundered resources, reduce resources that can be plundered, increase wounded units transfer ratio when being attacked, and reduce wounded units transfer ratio when attacking others.
Equipment Sundering and Enchanting
- Equipment of different levels can be split into various base materials.
- White equipment can’t be split
- Sundering never fails
- Sundering will yield up to 3 separate materials
- Only equipment with bonuses can be enchanted.
- White equipment can’t be enchanted
- Enchantment replaces one of the bonuses
- Enchantment consume both sundered materials and basic materials
- Equipment cannot have more than one of the same bonus
Players can click “Sunder equipment” to get Enchanting materials. Also, Enchantment Scrolls are found all over the world which can be exchanged for Enchants Scrolls in the Magic Tower; which can add one bonus attribute (bonuses of the same type can’t exist in the same equipment).
Rare items will appear at the Vagabond Camp every day. Players can exchange Gold for valuable shop items such as the Sacred Charm, Magic Anvil, Boss instance key, advanced enchantment scrolls, etc.
New Fame Titles
Increase the upper limit of fame to 100000000， with 5 fame stages from 100000 to 100000000. Reaching the new titles will not impact the daily tasks

Players can now spend gold to reduce the amount of time necessary to use a portal. Every 10,000 gold will reduce the time waiting in the portal by 1 minutes..
The amount of Heroes in the tavern has been increased, with a level 10 Tavern now housing 10 Heroes at a time.
Wonders in capitals of all races can now upgrade, which will consume resources and time. Wonders start at level 1 and can be upgraded all the way to level 100. When wonders reach certain levels, player will earn the corresponding rewards and bonuses. As the level upgrades, player can take more units into battle with their Heroes.. Player can take an extra 100000 Troop Value for each 10 levels.
* Squash Rebellion
Capitol buildings now have a “Squash Rebellion” Task (after guilds have taken over a Capitol). All Guild Leaders can spend gold to scout Rebellions, and members of the same guild can attack Rebellions. The Guild who owns the Capitol can receive 30% of gold from scouting as a Task. Each Capitol allow for 3 scouting tasks per day.
Each Guild can only put down one rebellion at the same time.
- Capitol Battle Declaration Time adjusted to 0:00 – 18:00 daily, 18:00 – 19:00 is preparation time, and 19:00 – 21:00 is battle time.
All players can choose to support certain guilds
- When Guilds declare battle, the function starts.
- All players can join support event.
- Players can support Attack or Defense Side.
- Players support Guilds.
- Players can only support once per battle and consumes 300,000 Gold.
-- Players who support the Winning Side receive “Silver” as award: # of silver = total support population / winning population, lowest possible is 1 and rounded to whole number.
-- Players who support Winning Side can also get Gold Cards as award: player receiving gold card amount = total support population*3 / winning population, rounded up to whole number.
- The minimum troop force for joining a Cap Battle is 3,000,000, during the battle time destroying other troops and own troops death will receive points, and will count towards the rankings in the Capitol Battle Score Rank.
Points received = destroyed troop/200,000 + lost troops/500,000
Scope of Calculating Capitol Battle Results:
With the Capitol as the center point, battle results within square total of 100 spaces per sides are all included in calculation (as long as both sides have players entering within the square area means both sides will receive Ancient Strongholds Battle Results.
- All member of the Winning Side Guild (receiving more than 10 points) can receive 2 silver. In addition will give out additional silver award, silver will be automatically placed inside players inventory, silver amount = score / 20.
- When the battle is declared, the Support function starts.
- All players online can join support function.
- Players can support offensive side or defensive side.
- Players support guilds.
- Limitation: each battle can only support once and consumes 300,000 Gold.
- Supporters of Winning side receive “Silver” as award: number of silver = total support population / winning support population, lowest possible result is 1 and rounded to whole number.
Supporters of Winning Side also receive Gold Cards as award: Gold card amount = total support population*3 / winning support population, rounded up to whole number.
* Created a brand new Tutorial to better help new players get learn the game: building, hero equipment, marching, finding NPCs, battling, adding new attribute points, etc.
* Growth gifts: to help assist new players, added a new growth gift interface to reward players as they increase their fame.

Displaying Equipment and Items in Chat
* CTRL+left click to copy the equipment or item name into the chat bar and add hyperlink effect to share equipment attributes.
Add migration card, a magical card that allows you to move your main to another available castle. Select an available castle on the map and use this item. Your resources and other castles will not be affected.（Note: Castle must be the same as your Race)
This item allows a Hero to arrive at a target destination immediately. However it can’t be used when returning to the castle.
Guild leader can use guild funds to add additional battles against the Guild Instance.
Maximum Number of Heroes
Change max number of Heroes from 20 Heroes with 1000000 Fame to 25 Heroes with 1000000 Fame.
Market: Forge/Wonder Materials
Players can now exchange for forge or wonder materials in the market.
Exchange rate between forge materials: 3：1
Exchange rate between wonder materials: 2：1
Babel and Guild instance
Player can choose to challenge to a certain floor automatically. The player can also use an “Upgrade card” to select the floor he wants to start on. Upgrade card can be obtained from daily tasks or the shop.
When powerful players login, after 15 seconds the system will automatically send server announcements.
New VIP System
Player can use silver to purchase VIP Service.
Guild Unit Recruitment
* Players can use silver and guild funds to recruit units inside the guild, level 1-3 guilds can only recruit level 1-5 units, level 4-10 guilds can recruit any type of units.
* When guild members recruit units, 30% of the recruited units will be kept in the guild barracks, where other guild members can exchange for units using contribution points.
* For Players whose fame is above 1,000,000 and own at least 6 C2s.
* Player’s C2 durability increases to 10 points after plundered by other players, each player can use 10 Fortifications per day to increase sub-castle’s durability.
* When other players overtake a player’s C2 for more than 24hours, player can trash or disband, player will receive mail notice.
* Abandoning C2s will be viewed as giving up, the sub-castle’s data will be preserved completely. Dismantling the sub-castle will lead to all buildings downgrading by one level, the dismantler will also get some resources and gold, the amount will be based on the level of buildings in the castle, players can check for information and operate in the Kingdom Interface.
New Searching Function
* To help players more easily find plunder targets and enemy castle, there is an updated search function
* Player can search for surrounding castles once per day, and will be provided with the closest targets that can be plundered
* Players can spend silver to search for a designated player, this search will provide all information for all of this enemy’s castles

In the Bazaar, player can recast a piece of equipment each time, after recasting there is a random chance of new additional attributes, each player has 5 chances of free recasting for per day.

* Adjust Arena Gameplay
- Add in competition in Arena by making separating different arenas base on 20 levels rather than 10 levels
- Heroes that join in Arena will gain abundant experiences, and will gain “Bravery Badge”
- Can be used in the Arena to purchase magic sets. Babel Tower, Guild Instance, and Field Buildings will no longer drop magic equipment.
- New BUFF for Arena, players can choose BUFF before registering, each BUFF can only be used once per day.
* Optimize search function outside the city
- Cancel all tabs under “Search”(including search monster, search resource, search treasure, search building), and only read the corresponding search message.

* Adjust Plunder war rule
After launch of new version, player don’t need to declare a war any more, but the
fame difference will still be less than 5 times（when both players have the title
above The Immortal, there will be no fame limit）； Upgrade warehouse can protect resources; it can protect 40% resources at most. When plundering, player may get some extra items, which are generated by system. If there is no hero in castle of player being plundered, units in castle will not attack and only Guard Tower protects the castle
* Adjustment to Challenge Ranking System
- Original points are all cleared. Add in new Points Shop, players can use the collected points to exchange for items in Points Shop
- Level 1 Hero can join in the challenge, cooling period is 0
- When players gain 5, 10, 15, 25, 35, 45, and 55 continuous wins will receive abundant points award, this will also related to players current rank.
- Players ranked top 100 will receive bonus points once per day.
* Optimize wild resources
Change resource types of ★、★★、★★★、★★★★、★★★★★、★★★★★★ into only 1 type of “Massive”. The total amount of wild resources is reduced slightly. Massive resources are a little more than the original resources of ★★★★★. At the same time, the amount of monsters with less than 6 stars will be reduced slightly, but the total EXPs are increased.
* Change wounded units transfer ratio and escaped units ratio when hunting monsters
Wounded units transfer ratio caused by hunting monsters and plundering is reduced from 60%-80% to 50%; escaped units ratio when hunting monsters is changed into 30%
* Modify warehouse capacity and initial resources
After adjustment, the upper limit of warehouse resources is increased by 50%, and the upper limit of gold is increased by 100%.

* Adjust epic battle report broadcast

* Adjust Siege war
- Adjust units to siege castle：
After launch of new version, player has to take over 1000000 units to siege other player’s castle. Player has to take over 1000000 employed units to siege other player’s castle.
- Adjust siege effect：
A castle can be siege by 10 heroes at most（including both employed heroes and player’s heroes）When the castle is siege, the castle durability will be reduced according to the formula of：
Reduced castle’s defense per hour=number of heroes sieging the castle*3
Player can only siege the castle with durability >20. After siege, the castle durability will be reduced by 3 points per hour and the heroes in castle can’t leave.
* Adjust BOSS refreshment
- Adjust refreshment time
Refresh minion 3 times each day, that is, minion will appear at 12：00、18：00、22：00（15*3）; at 13：00、19：00、23：00 refresh 3 BOSS at the same time（Zeus、Phoenix、Grand Dragon），and all server will announce the message of “BOSS XXX has begun to torment the land! Heroes, draw your swords and show your might!”
BOSS has 20 minutes protection period. During those 20 minutes, player can click BOSS, head for the battlefield. However, you can’t attack BOSS even you have arrived nearby BOSS within these 20 minutes. That means player can attack the BOSS after 13:20, 19:20, 23:20.
After 14:00, 20:00, 24：00, BOSS and its minions will disappear
- Adjust minion value
Divide minions into 3 classes（XX minion，XX bodyguard，XX hitman）， and there are 5 minions for each
Class 1（XX minion）: suitable for level 80 players(above yellow equipments)
Class 2（XX bodyguard）: suitable for level 60 players(above yellow equipments)
Class 3（XX hitman）: suitable for level 40 players(above yellow equipments)
Since 3 BOSS appear at the same time, their minions also appear at the same
time, that is, 45 minions（15*3） appear at the same time.
* Adjust Refuge Camp function
Add exchange function of any unit type, however, player has to have advanced units training ability; at the same time, hero is not required to take unit to exchange units any more.
* When player gets back deleted account, the inventory will be initialized to 128 slots
* Delete saved coordinate, the webpage remain unchanged
* Adjust Guild instance function；

To make the game more even and slow down battle speed, increase the basic DEF value for level 6 – 10 units.
* Adjustment to Resource Mines
To assist players with better control of resources growth, make the following adjustment to resource mines:
- Each player can at most take over 5 resource mines, can start “digging” after taking over the resources mines, the digging will show the actual level of resources mines and digging lasts for one week.
- Player’s own fame, level of resource mines, and resource items and BUFFs will ultimately affect players income of resource from mines. Players can click on mines to check in detail.
- When taking over other player’s resource mines, this mines level and lasting time does not change, players can continue enjoy additional resources.
* Adjustment to World Map and Plundering
- To decrease player’s waiting time when marching, add many new portals and any transferring between two portals is only one minutes, player can reach any location in Gaia within 5 minutes. Defending players can also check out enemy information and arrival time at the portal door.
- The max protection for resource warehouse decrease to 25%, and sub-castle with durability less than 5 cannot be plundered, scouting players will not scout sub-castles with durability less than 5
- Players can use assault card to attack enemy under ____ status, this plunder will decrease enemy castle’s durability by 20 points
* Adjustment to Forging
- Increase in attributes change during forging will be base on forging level.
- Equipment forging no longer requires gold.
* Hero skill can be equipped on any hero in any of the castles, same skill only the highest level can be equipped
* No limit on max amount of exchanges per day in the market, but different level of market will affect exchange rates to between 70% - 100%.
* AP required for visiting Babel Tower decreases from 50 to 5, no limit on number of visits per day, and decreased the difficulties for Level 10 – 20.
* Lower level monsters increase in experiences
* Adjustment to drop items in the Instance, level 10 – 100 drop level 1, 2, 3, …10 forging materials, all difficulty of instances switch to normal level
* Protection time after PVP in the Wild shorten to 30 seconds

Conceal Card When being scounted by enemy, the resources information is only 1/5 of the actual resources, lasting for 12 hours; continuous use can prolong the effect time.
Gate and road closure Reduce the resource output of your sieged city by 50% lasting for 12 hours. If the siege event is cancelled within 12 hours, the effect disappears.
BUG FIXES (Partial List)
* Mouse keeps dragging the interface though the player has stop dragging;
* Instant Tavern task （it shall be able to be finished in both capital and castle)
* Some hero avatar resource error
* After clicking on build forge, stables, the interface can’t be refreshed immediately;
* Fix error that when open building for the first time, the interface doesn’t show up.
* Fix problem of when loss in the Babel Tower, the report is empty or undefined
* The error that TIPS doesn’t show when viewing hero attribute in Babel;
* Error message when recruit hero again after the number of heroes reach upper limit;
