CoG - Beta Over

We appreciate everyone's help testing Call of Gods, but I'm here to announce that beta has ended. Please help us by doing the following...

After beta has ended the developers will wipe the server and then work on updating the game. Our hope is around mid or end of February everything will be ready for the official release!

Update (2/12):
We were hoping to release start the official release for Call of Gods at the end of February, but it's probably going to be more like March.

We haven't received a list of bug fixes from the developers yet, however they did tell us what new features they're already finished with:

1. New Arena system is completed. Players now can enter the arena for PvP.
2. The battle screen now can be shut down immediately if players choose.
3. Added a new function to enlarge the inventory.
4. Added a new function to tidy up the inventory.
5. Can now make purchases using Aeria Points (AP)

Update (2/16):
Here are some of the bugs that the developers have fixed already.

1. Cannot get any experience from fights in the dungeons.
2. After accepting the quest ”Collect Minerals” given by Silven in Silver Tower at lvl 12, the quest cannot be seen in quest menu.
3. The pop up window that announced level up on lvl 45->46. 46->47 didn't appeared when players leveled in a dungeon, and also the "!" for the new available quests doesn’t appear on demonfire map right after leveling.

Update (2/27):
The developers are actively fixing bugs for us. We're looking at launching CoG the 2nd week of March. Here's an update on some of the bugs reported in beta that they're looking into:

Bugs actively being fixed now:
- Heroes disappear during assigning
- Various disconnect issues
- Difficulty recruiting stronger troops
- Problems accessing areas after leveling up
- Various quests that couldn't be properly accepted
- Issue with having more than 6 heroes
- Dungeon saving issues

Bugs we hope will be fixed around launch:
- Music incorrectly changes when looking at an item posted in chat
- Replays sometimes play again after entering a dungeon
- Random flashes on screen
- Alliance quest for scrap metal doesn't properly report status
- Plus various others...

Bugs that require additional information for Devs:
- "You have logged in somewhere else" error message
- "Internal Error" message while trying to complete alliance quest during afk-training
- High CPU usage issue

Ando, please be more clear on the rewards we all get for assisting in the test.

The info posted wasn't very clear.

The rewards mentioned in this thread are being offered directly by the developer. Unfortunately I do not have too many additional details other than what is mentioned there.

Dun dun dun, the ending time is getting closer and closer.
This gives me a mixed feeling between happy and sad xD

I'm too addicted to this game @.@;;;

zomg <3 you buddy!!! and sry to say this but I <3 the devs even more!!! new features beat releasing a game we've already played for hours

nice!

It's nice to see features implemented which are asked for by a lot of players in the beta.

Hopefully they will get implemented without too much bugs ... maybe a second beta-test? Starting, lets say, tomorrow ? Wink
