This is just an example of Story Style RP, please do not make an application! This is simply reference for those that haven't RPed before.
Also, this is a paraphrased version to just give you an idea. The story is set up in much more detail than it needs to be, but its an example of Story Style. Read the Subject and Description of each post for a little info about the post.
Story thus far:
The world that we knew was destroyed instantly one day because the gods thought the world was boring. Before they did, they told the inhabitants of their plans in order to have fun.
A band of warriors of all types and races, came together to stop the gods. The races that banded together were; the jack-of-all-trades Humans, the mysterious Elves, the sturdy Dwarves, the mighty Dragons, the bloodthirsty Beastmen, the vicious Demons, and even the angelic Angels. After several weeks of fighting the gods’ monstrous armies, the gods got bored again and decided to destroy the world.
The gods were than executed by their creator and were made anew. The creator couldn’t restore the destroyed world so he copied the old one and made a new world for all the inhabitants ofthe old world to live in, leaving their memories of the tragedy intact forfuture generations to know of the deeds and legends.
After several thousand years have passed, the world is peaceful as it could be. All the races lived in cities with one another. Though wars still ravage the lands, people don’t seem to mind them much. But one day, dark clouds appeared all over the place and metal spheres came crashing down.
The media crews that were atthe sites of the crashes all over the world were massacred by monsters from past and legend. The very same monsters that served the old gods.
The new gods looked at the events in horror as their beloved world was being torn apart. After several days, the gods decided to help their inhabitants by bestowing their greatest warriors’ strength and courage. Battle after battle, the monsters’ ranks thinned, and they were pushed back to the metal spheres they came in.
The world was on the edge of a knife as the races and gods of the world found out the old gods are trying to resurrect themselves. The warriors that were given godly might to defend the world died due to the world still aging.
Now warriors, mercenaries, even lawless rouges are coming together for the next war. Will you help themsave it?
Angels: Angelic beings that served to gods in the past before they rebelled and helped the other races. The wings on their back can get bulky for them so they make bad melee fighters. They can reach up to 1000 years.
Classes: Paladin, Archer, Gunner, Ranger, Wizard, Enchanter/Enchantress, Summoner, and Spellsword.
Beastmen: Fast strong and bloodthirsty is what makes the Beastmen a feared race. They are also a proud race and very intelligent, but lack magical skills. They look like any furred animal. They can reach to 200 years. Note: Can use the passive skill Morph which allows them to switch between their animal and human forms.
Class: Warrior, Ninja, Thief, Samurai, Monk, Duellist, and Dragoon.
Demons: Beings that have roamed the demonic lands of the Far Plain. They vary from demon to demon, but look don’t look like complete monsters. This race prefers bloodshed and pain. They can reach up to 1000 years.
Classes: Thief, Ninja, Reaper, and Necromancer.
Dragons: Mighty creatures that look like giant lizards.They developed a way to make them look more human besides their scales and other parts of their dragon selves stay. Proud and loyal to those they befriend. They also vary from elements, such as; Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light and Shadow which determine what classes are completely available to them.They can reach up to 800 years. Note:Can use the passive skill Morph which allows them to switch between their animal and human forms.
Classes: Warrior, Paladin (Light only), Reaper (Shadow only), Samurai, Monk (Earth only), Duellist (Fire only), Archer (Wind only), Wizard (Fire, Water, Wind, an Earth only), Enchanter/Enchantress, Necromancer (Shadow only), Summoner (All but Shadow), Spellsword (Water only), an Alchemist (Earth only).
Dwarves: Short and less than humble beings, they resemble small and hairy Humans. Their lives revolve around fighting, drinking, and nobility. Despite their small size, they can stand up to monsters four times their size. They can reach up to 400 years.
Classes: Warriors, Paladins, Gunners, Duellists, Enchanter/Enchantress, an Alchemist.
Elves: An agile race that doesn’t have much strength, but has magical knowledge and are very dexterous. They can’t become Warriors or Paladins, but can become Reapers and Samurai instead. They can reach up to 700 years.
Classes: Ninja, Reaper, Samurai, Duellist, Dragoon, Archer, Gunner, Ranger, Wizard, Enchanter/Enchantress, and Spellsword.
Humans: Your average race that has more populace than any other race. Weak and short lived than the other races, but strong willed and cunning. Not as strong in the classes as the other races are also. They can reach up to 120 years.
Classes: Warrior, Paladin, Ninja, Thief, Samurai, Monk, Duellist, Dragoon, Gunner, Wizard, Enchanter/Enchantress, Summoner, Necromancer, Spellsword, an Alchemist.
Warrior - Up close and personal fighters that can dish out damage in large amounts. Armor: Heavy or lower. Weapon(s): Two handed sword, axe, mace, and hammer.
Duellist - A class that tends to dual wield and prefers to fight one opponent at a time. Armor: Chain. Weapon(s): Short sword(s).
Dragoon – A warrior class that uses Fire embedded weapons an armor that is shaped like a dragon. Armor: Heavy or lower and shield. Weapon(s): One handed or two handed spear (the same spear but different handling).
Monk – A master of martial arts. Armor: Clothing only. Weapon(s): Gloves and battle Staff.
Ninja - Like the Thief class, they can sneak up behind monsters, use poison and can scout. But cannot pick locks nor steal. Armor: Light or lower. Weapon(s): Ninja sword, shurikens, and kunai.
Samurai – Exactly like the Reaper class, but use more physical attacks. Armor: Chain or lower. Weapon(s): Katana
Thief -This class can steal, scout, pick locks, and sneak up on monsters. Armor: Light or lower.Weapon(s): Dagger and poison darts.
Archer - Ranged fighters that act like snipers and scouts. Armor: Light or lower. Weapon(s): Bow and arrows.
Gunner – A less ranged class than the Archer, but can unleash barrages of bullets with different effects. Armor: Light or lower.Weapon(s): Hand guns and SMG. (PM me for full detail list of guns)
Ranger – A mixed class that brings the power of the Archer and swordsmanship into play, but with less strength due to their mix. Armor: Light or lower.Weapon(s): Bow ‘n arrows and short sword or one handed sword.
Enchanter/Enchantress – This class is adept at embedding objects with the elements, and/or life. Armor: Robe or lower. Weapon(s): Wand and magic orb.
Necromancer – Delves into the dark and forbidden arts that bring the dead back to life at the cost of their energy. Armor: Robe or lower. Weapon(s): Magic orb and dagger.
Summoner – Summons creatures known as Oeons to help in battle. Be aware that if an Oeon gets hurt the Summoner gets hurt. May only learn how to summon 4 Oeons at any one time and only one Oeon can be summoned into battle at a time. Armor: Robe or lower Weapon(s): Staff.
Wizard - Your spell casting mage. Weak up in melee and ranged combat, but great in magic assaults. Armor: Robe or lower. Weapon(s): Staff and Magic orbs
Alchemist - Magic users that use science and magic to create stones and metals into what they want. Must use pentagrams to use their skills. Armor: Robe or lower. Weapon(s): Pentagram circle gloves.
Paladin - Similar to the Warrior class, but uses holy magic to heal and buff comrades in battle and has lowered damage. Preferred as tanks but is still consider a magic class. Armor: Heavy or lower and Shield.Weapon(s): One handed sword, axe, or one handed or two handed mace, or hammer.
Reaper – Similar to the Samurai class, but uses more dark spells like a Necromancer. Can summon souls of the **** to help in battle. Armor: Chain or lower. Weapon(s): Scythe
Spellsword – A fighter/magic class that has a passive spell known as Water Shield on them that protects them from harm before they can take damage (Only active if wearing Robe armor). They are weaker than Paladins in terms of strength of arms but make up for it with their spells. Can use Water magic only. Armor: Heavy and shield. Weapon(s): One handed, two handed sword, or trident.
Clothing - Default armor can't go lower than this.
Robe - More defence than Clothing and also helps give more focus to the wearing.
Light – Made for light classes that need to be fast.
Chain – Faster than Heavy but slower than Light armor. Perfect armor choice for medium melee classes.
Heavy - Made for frontline classes to use. Great boost in defence.
NPCs will be added later once this is accepted since they are still in a work in progress.

Death? You're not invincible
. You'll take hitsand dish them out, keep it real. That means Angels, Demons and Dragons aren’t immortal, they can also die from natural causes, just not as fast.

; Beastmen can be any Were you can find. If you can find it on Google, you can be it. Can be half versions. Same with Dragons.
: Due to attraction, the other races have started breeding with one another. Most half breeds have human blood in them (common). Half breeds have a mixed life span which is calculated by A + B / 2 = X (A Dragon/Angel half breed would be 800+1000/2=900 so they could only live 900 years). If half breed, you can only use classes that are useable by the two races.
? Do not randomly kill another player or NPC without their permission.
; Most of this will involve missions or quests.You will be given these by a NPC and occasionally a unique opportunist (played by players that I give note to)
? Swearing is fine, but moderate. Violence is of course fine. Relationship is fine, but nothing graphic.

Bio/Background: Tinnata, or Tina for short, has always been alone in her heart. When she was growing up, she was assaulted for her beauty, but killed her attacker mercilessly in defense. Since she was poor, she decided to use her new found skills to make money as a mercenary. She met the goddess Eupthes (who was the goddess of Salvation) when she was on a job, hunting some low class monsters spotted outside a town and was given a mark on her body that proved she was a chosen warrior of the gods’. Because of her beauty, merciless and cold nature when she is in battle and to add the fact she wields a scythe; she was nicked named “The Grim Reaper Goddess” which even the gods have no intent to make it changed. She is currently heading to the forest region to get rid of monsters sighted there
