For the last couple weeks I've been noticing that if I log-in on the home page and then go to the forums, the forum index page does not show me as being logged in. When I try to post in topics, I get "page not found."

If I click on "Log in" though, it takes me to my profile.

There are ways to get around the issue, like refreshing the browser or deleting cookies and restarting, but that's a pain, shouldn't this issue be taken care of?
