Any chance to record a video with 75 pvp set and no halloween candy?
As the setup you're using is a setup very few can pull off. =D
I actually just went and did that for you. You're going to need to wait until... Whenever I wake up tomorrow before I post a link, though. I'm not going to bother trying to upload it until I go to sleep.
But, gear/talent set as a preview to know what to expect:
75 arena set
60 yellow/70 yellow 1h swords
Sniper Hunter(74 orange +50% aspd gun(I don't have a formal PVE weapon that's optimal for 75 set anymore other than armored sentinel, I'm almost always in GVG set now))
Talents: Sniping, Deathblow, Stealth Strike, Lash Out, Twin Blade Expert, Master Assassin, Brute Chain, Swift Strike
Buffs: +20 vit NPC buff from Twin Lion, nothing else.
Run time: About 3:50~ish to the same side as I did in my speedrun.
It's literally as slow as I can possibly get, though. And to be honest, at that speed/without any buffs you're probably better off running the extra 2 minutes to get to b2. The entire allure of the style of run in the original video is the fact that:
1. I can speed teleport out extremely easily, making resetting and time inbetween mob killing and reset extremely small.
2. I can make sure I have buffs the entire time I'm killing, as compared to b2 where I'll have them for maybe
one side. And buffs can make a rather large difference in speed.
3. It's really rhythmic. You can zone out in the actions pretty easily.
4. While I could go full circle around b1, past the first side rooms the risk:reward is far too steep. Not to mention that you really will spend about the same time walking before you get to a new set of mobs(which are "trickier" to kill) as you would with a lover tele>reset.
So uh, while I would say the video that's (soon) to be uploaded will be good just for random tricks/etc., I wouldn't necessarily say it's the most effective way to grind as a sin without cleric buffs and a lover tele right outside.
And yeah, my speedrun is literally how I did grinding 75-80, I was going specifically for as fast as I could go, lol. So at the time I took the original video, it wasn't anything about demonstration of popular case scenario, just reduce as much time off of each run as I possibly could.
Cool video, but i thought you were gonna finish that?
Finish what? o.o
If you mean do a full run around MSMF, read the above as to why I don't.
