[Tutorial] Energy Syetem

In Call of Gods, there is an energy system. If you run out of it, you can only chat, go to arena or waiting.



When you fight with monsters each time, the Energy will decrease one each. If you have no energy, you can’t fight with monsters.
And the Energy will increase one per 5 minutes.

edit: after reading the reply from the GM's the dev's have re-deemed themselves to me Razz, I was just surprised this was not mentioned before.


For example, if you look at how many monsters it takes at the midrange level (often in the 1000's) limiting it so something like 300 and then having to wait 5 minutes each time, really destroys the game and will make it too slow for the vast majority of people who played in the CBT and even new people joining the game

Can we have this removed? =(

I love to grind a lot without limitation as I'm a hardcore PvE-er.
This feature will kill my enjoyment in the game =(

Please don't implement this feature x(

This seems to be a way to eliminate players rather than draw them in.

Do Exp- or Resource-Spots also consume energy? and if yes, how much?
I would like to play CoG without this "feature" too Sad

OP says chat, arena, and wait. I think the resource spots use energy, which means we're going to have horrible leveling.

No... bad feature >_< i know this is to protect against bot's but i rather have Capacha code's rather then this game ruiner...
1 fight every 5 minutes will make getting level 30 take FOREVER

We spoke to the Devs about this tonight. They want to test this system and collect feedback. If there's complaints they will consider making adjustments.

Some quick background though, they feel that 300 energy should be enough for normal players, but they are adding a cap to help avoid the chance someone will find a way to level themselves up when they're not at their computer.

bot prevention which this game needed big time. 300 battles is like 4 hours of straight grinding so anyone who has a problem with that is probably macroing. hope it resets once a day though cause eventually ya would have to wait way to long to play. It'd be better if if was like 100 energy getting back 1 every 2 minutes, but hey at least bots can't go all day and night, right.

Oh trust me, if I felt like it 300 battles could happen in under 4 hours. And with 1 energy per 5 minutes that means 25 hours to restock. This actually makes 1 every 5 minutes seem more like botting than playing.

On a side note: I never macro. I find it an offense to consider doing it. I could preform 2 battles per minute. In 2 hours 30 minutes I will be thru the 300 energy. 30 of it would of recovered. In 15 minutes more I'd have burned thru that. 3 more recovered, 1 minute 30 seconds. Now the game is unplayable.

2 hours, 46 minutes, 30 seconds, 25 hour recovery.

Game over before it starts.
