The time has come for some of our Heroes of Gaia veterans to unify and ascend to new heights with the new expansion HoG: Ascension!

With the release of the expansion, we will be opening a brand new server: Hydra!

Meanwhile, the servers Atlantis and Pangea will be merging with the much smaller Rayflame servers Crius and Theia to form the soon-to-be legendary server “Aegis.” We are really excited to see all of our most experienced players together, so to celebrate we are going to be offering one week of 20% off EVERYTHING in Aegis’ shop.

Nemesis will remain unchanged, which will give us three total servers: Aegis, Nemesis, and Hydra… to give you all the very best experience HoG has to offer.

All server changes will be launched with the expansion on March 10th. We currently are anticipating about 8 hours of downtime to facilitate all of the merging and updating.

If you haven’t seen the full patch notes for the game yet, prepare to have your mind blown! Heroes of Gaia: Ascension is a huge step forward and we are really happy to finally be sharing it with all of you.

umm...how exactly is that going to work? if people with the same aeria account have accounts on both atlantis and pangea? do they lose one or both? do they get to choose which?
