If some people are getting disconnected and some not, it can't be the LC servers, as then ALL people would be getting disconnects.

But I know what you mena about the DC waves, I got hit by one today, and it took out all party healers.

last week i've been getting disconnect and getting errors when opening invetory and closing merchent mode and teleporting between maps.

First of all, computers are some really strange things, if you got an issue, it could be almost everything..
But first of all, get rid of ur firewalls(I had a Norton once, it kicked me after certain times)
And Windows firewall, but ofc ur comp will be more on risk on getting viruses and spywares..
And from everything, it could just be ur cable from modem to ur computer... Or maybe the modem is bugged, or maybe the switch/router..

Maybe a little more describsion? Like..
When you disconect u also disconect from internet?(This might have been told, just fast reading it)

Might not be LC servers or their computer, it could very well be servers that your connection jumps to on its way to LC.

I'm guessing that the lastchaos website is hosted on the same server as the game so do this:

open command prompt:

Start > Run > Command
or
Start > Programs > MS-DOS Prompt (Win9x)
Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt (WinXP)

tracert www.lastchaos-usa.com > trace.txt

This will create a file called trace.txt in the directory you're working in.
After this, you can open it up in any text editor, and copy & paste.

Type: notepad trace.txt after you do your traceroute, while still in the command/dos prompt.
This should open the file.

As for the directory it's in, it should be in the dir as indicated by your prompt,
which should look something like:
c:\somedir

if not, type: prompt %p
This will change the prompt to show what dir you are in.

Use explorer to go to that dir to find the file.
