Crit Damage

Does anyone know how much more dmg in crit you get for every 10 Luck? Is it % based (you do 5% more dmg from crits per 10 Luck) or an actual number (with 10 Luck you crit +5 dmg) etc?

LUC ratios are: 120 LUK about 30% of rate. 240 LUK about 52% of rate and 380 LUK would increase up to almost 78% of crit rate

Not sure about these numbers, I quote from some other thread (which I don't remember which to link it)

Just to post an observation, it seemed like he was asking about crit damage, not the rate of crits.. and you posted the rate of crits.. So.. Is the increased damage %s the same as the increase of your critical rate? xD

is it always or does luck actually change the multiplier at all like it says?

I quote another "veteran" player:

from normal until ultimate, I do not touch any of other stat except DEX and LUK. Only if you are Ultimate character in WAR, you might need some strength on Kellis Fortress (for lvl 40+ WAR) but overall, main source for archer = only DEX and LUK.

You might suffer a little bit at beginning with Normal LUK archer but then, if you look forward for a future of 1 hit - 1 hurt - quick kill. I suggest you rather take that suffer suffer and be happy with your lvl 40+ archer doing 80% of critical all the time =). Remember that crit is normal damage x3 and with that 80% of rate. You're just replacing your normal hit into critical hit.

Either you go strength or luk. It is all up to your gaming style. I am not interfere on your personal style. I do respecting on ever body styles that fitting them =)

Good luck =)

I have not toyed with LUC that much to measure it.

That's incorrect.. Maybe for base, but Luck definitely modifies your critical damage.

Stolen from a post just below this one:

* Luck increases your Critical damage and your chance to cause critical hits (380 Luck gives a 78% chance to critical). It also increases your damage slightly. 3 points in Luck = 1 point of damage. Without Luck you won't critical very often.

But that still doesn't specify being an actual increase of raw damage or an increased % to critical damage.

It does most definitely increase your critical damage though.

So my guess, to answer the OP, is that no one knows for sure. Maybe someone that's played the CN\KR w/e version could answer this for you though.

Layne is right. Shonjir this "veteran" player is wrong. LUC is definitely increasing your Crit Damage. Even the tool tip in the game says so.

Actually that vetran is quoting his max stats values thus he is right.. thats the endgame luc build so you can say 4 luc is 1% crit dmg in that case from what he says.

Also since he states 80% rate at those stats so i would presume that rate is 8 points luc = 1% rate, since when i start it seems to be 5% rate.
