AP Gifts/Trades

Exchange of PrePaid AP Codes
Recently there have been many questions about trading/selling AP, because of the availability of AP Codes on Prepaid cards, or E-Pins. Hopefully this will help clarify some things:

Can AP be traded/given?
No. AP can never be traded or given to another account once it has been granted. However, many of our games allow for items purchased with AP to be traded/gifted.

Can the AP Codes on Prepaid Cards or EPins be traded/given/sold?
Yes. Players may exchange these codes BEFORE they are used. However, Aeria Games does not provide a secure method for these transactions, and is not responsible for any fraud related to them.

What will Aeria Games do for me if I get tricked/defrauded in a transaction with AP Codes?
Nothing. We do not support the exchange of these codes, so you do this at your own risk. However, if we receive multiple reports of fraudulent behavior about the same account, it may result in loss of service for that account.

What can we SELL these AP Codes for?
Aeria Games will allow the sale of these codes for in game items in our games. We will NOT allow the sale of these codes for real money, aeria accounts, or item/accounts from other games. Advertising any of these prohibited transactions will result in loss of service to the account.

Can I recharge my friends AP?
Yes. You may purchase an AP Code, and give it to them.

Where can I get these AP Codes?
You may find AP Codes on the following items:

Prepaid Cards (sold in stores)
Aeria Fun Card (US, Canada)
Aeria Extreme Card (Safeway?, US)
Aeria Excite Card (UK), may be branded as Extreme Card as well.

E-Pins (sold online)

I'm glad the cards, which I guess have been available for quite a while now, finally did give us an easy way to gift actual AP instead of just game items.

They make for dandy event/contest prizes, too. Wink

Old Old Old knowledge. It really does help to read thru the ToS and other rules offered up by Aeria which seem to be there every day o.O. Thanks again for repeating it.... Smile

So, we're not allowed to log onto a guildies account and recharge AP?
I know it's prolly against the whole "account sharing" thing, but i have a pretty good relationship (in a non Happy way lol) with ma guildie.. And i've been wondering about this for a long time.

We share items (he uses mine, and i use his sometimes).
Would it be illegal to log onto his account and transfer the items (my items) to my account?
And recharge AP for that matter Razz

Is having 2 accounts playing from the same IP illegal?
Cuz sometimes me and my girlfriend plays, but we're behind a router that gives us the same global IP. Any problems there?

Prepaid codes are available as E-Pins... which are bought online. So unless you dont have access to the internet, you should be able to get them.

Many people have multiple accounts. There isn't a a problem with this, but multiple accounts can be used to do things that violate the TOS.
