Are you running something like dedicated 500 player Official Lineage2 servers? Why do you need 4/8 gb ram? Its too much, no game requires that much, even crysis needs 1024 lol not 8 gb..

The more RAM you have, the less your HD needs accessed; hard drives are fathoms slower than RAM. No matter what OS is runnning, there is a need for a swap partition/file unless you have 3+ GB RAM; cutting out the need for a swap file greatly improves performance in games and high end applications.

There are people driving cars that have 1100+ BHP but I wouldn't tell them it's stupid to do that because they do alot more with their performance car than I do with my standard vehicle. I would have no idea what they need because am I not that person and it's none of my business.

Very bad PC specs. ^_^

AMD Athlon 3000+, which runs normally at 1.8Ghz, however I've OC'd it to 2.6Ghz, on just standard fans (42% gain).
1 GB DDR4 RAM
Radeon X300 - piece of crap.
HDD's - just under 1TB
