Is this happening because of high server traffic?

I've run it as admin, allowed it through the firewall as well as anti-virus.

Any hints/tips would be most welcome.

Well I'm sorry to hear that, but at least neither of us is alone now LOL

Servers went down for repairs at 6PDT and they're probibly still not back up yet.
(I'm getting the same connection error message too)

Same thing happened to me yesterday, it is because they just made a new patch, and they had to take the servers down for a while so that they could install it.
