Solving network error #009.

Ok to slove network error #009 u need to tell windows firewall to allow it.
(i got vista, same really for xp but meh)

Go into Control Panel



Then Windows Firewall

Then Change Settings, then Exceptions.




Then Add programme (will take some time to load this) and click browse.




Then find the .exe in ur C drive or where ever



and click ok and there u go Smile

(on the last ss i aleady allowed mine so urs may not look the same)

This isn't working for me, is it because I'm behind a router? Cause if it is I won't be able to play...

no idea cause im on wireless net, try this and ur anti-virus, both can clash

Well, I have McAfee n I have Full Allow the 12sky2.exe and launcher.exe but the network error #009 still appear. How this gotta be? Sad

which ports exactly are needed to run the game?

Port 11091 and 11606, I believe. The readme has more details, just click on it (it's stickied in this forum section) and search for "ports".

Nope...

Didn't work for me. =/ Even tried turning Firewall off but it still happens, just after log-in.

will this fix the 005 and 007 errors that occur randomly when zoning too? i can run the game for hours and hours and randomly (meaning not at any special time of day or after any specific amount of game time) i will try to zone and it will freeze.

If u have Win7 (idk if its same for vista) u'll get a force start option to unfreeze it, and on my system feed i see either a 005 or 007 error, and if i try to zone again i cant force start it, and then i get that "already signed in, wait 5-10min" message at the log in screen

a few times i got it 2 times in a row

and most of the ingame errors occur when i take the zone invite to war
