Why is it programmed so that the raid monser punishes people for playing the game?

It inhibits players from wanting to use irises and other Item Mall "grinding" stuff, as well as it discourages people from wanting to actually play the game.

So... I'm starting this formal suggestion thread to see what ppls feelings really are about having a monster spawn on their heads while they are trying to enjoy the game.

To me.. the raid monsters should be "passive" allow them to spawn without attacking. This in effect would allow their (the player's) game play to not be disrupted, unless they choose to gather up some friends to attack it. In a sense, these raid monsters would be a reward for those players grinding to have a chance to get a rare accessory. Or, if the person (players) choose to let it be, then it will go and spawn on the next group or individuals grinding somewhere on the map.

I've played on Eghea and had it spawned on me and my party repeatedly (almost relentless as it wont leave us alone but just leaves it spot to spawn on us again in the same area), and have had it 3x this week spawn on me and my party in Dratan while doing wafes (funny thing this.. the first week it didn't come out to wafes..o.O)

I know myself I've lost around 20% exp since these raid monsters started coming around, and I know others that have lost a whole lot more, and know even more that haven't grinded really since the things were introduced.

So.. I guess the little poll is:

A) Leave them like they are



B) Make them passive and non aggo

I AGREE - make them passive!

I had my Lv 30+ Sorcerer skills all the way to max - all of em - I was getting ready to hit Lv 36 when they introduced these killers of this game. Now I am stuck with this time invested in a character that can't possibly advance anymore. They will see...as the players who log in become less and less, and the money from the IM starts to dry up, they may get the hint. But it will be too late before they listen...already there are many people who have left, and the friend that got me into it just uninstalled it on his computer last night because I was teaching him how to level his pet with bare hands on harpys and along comes the GDK boss and wipes us both out - after 3 trips back to try and try again we just quit the game and he even uninstalled it. Like he said, why play a game when the producers and devs don't even WANT you to play it!!

I AGREE - Make it non-aggressive so if you WANT to fight them you can...nobody's saying take them OUT of the game...it's just really bad when one pops in over your head and you are dead before you can even hit the log out button. Thanks for listening and for others' support!!
