Tell me this isn't a prime example of how to play at LCS Level.

Can this be more useful?
What's the point of making this announcement when we ( all LoL players ) have been forced to change our passwords the day the breach happened.

Anyways thanks, although I dont play this kind of games. Also got that on an email.

Edit: I used to play the game, after 2 days I uninstall it. Very Happy Mr. Green

It appears that account information for League of Legends has been compromised. As this is a popular game, we would like anyone that has an account with them to read their announcement:

http://beta.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/riot-games/announcements/important-security-update-and-password-reset

Furthermore, we HIGHLY recommend that you change your password on any account that used this same password. It is NOT a good idea to every re-use a password... but we know that people do it.

Thanks bro, I would be so pissed if they hacked my account with my fresh Darius in it.
Daruis?

You must be a n00b.

Play a champ that takes skillz brah, like Nocturne... Wink

I bet your one of those players that likes to play Yi and Ashe all the time xD

PS Give me your LoL name. would be interesting to have a game or 2 withya.

Actually it was just a name I remembered, I never play top lane, I main jungle (and mid). I haven't played for months anyway, got bored lol (PS: been playing Syndra a lot, well I did before I quit)
Not bad, though personaly i like ARAMS more than summoners.

I tend to go with Karth, WW, Noct, Fid or Veigar.

What we know: usernames, email addresses, salted password hashes, and some first and last names were accessed. This means that the password files are unreadable, but players with easily guessable passwords are vulnerable to account theft.

they've only stolen salted hashed passwords, but they still have your email & usernames. Your passwords should be changed if you have a weak password.

Ideally, it should be changed anyway just to be safe.

Cracking salted MD5 is now a matter of hours, not days. They have made a lot of progress with decryption. I suggest you be cautious, and change passwords just to be safe.

MD5... hue hue hue. no.
MD5 isn't the only way. just look at Microsoft's wifi password encryption.
