This version of sf2 is for North America only. There is a gameforge version that supports the European region.

Yep, just upgraded to 8.1 and when I click start nothing happens. I really love SF2 and I hope it gets fixed soon.

It worked fine on Windows 8, but as soon as I got 8.1 it hasn't been working at all. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Windows 8.1 has an unknown incompatibility with SF2. If Win8.1 is causing issues, please submit a support ticket with your system specs (a DxDiag logfile is perfect) so that we can identify any possible consistency with the issue and inform the developers so they can patch it.

Also, please elaborate on "won't work", it doesn't really tell us anything.
