Turnspike has a bad design, basically.

The points deduction is a horrible design.
So if your team is doing better at first you get all your boxes done, and that is 90 points for the team and minus 60 for the other team.
Because it does not record negative points, so you will ended up with 90:0

When the enemy team do all their boxes (neglect the NPCs) they get 90 points and you have 60 points reduced, ending with 30:90

This allow a passive team to win easier because you can always get at least 60 points advantage without actively doing something.

I think this system is flawed.

This is actually a really good point, one that I didn't notice.

Now I don't know for sure if this is what actually happens, but if it does than I guess it really does affect whichever team gets their boxes done first.

However, I have noticed that people will always go for the boxes first regardless, mainly because of the chance of getting some rare loot.

Oh and thanks a lot kitten for this awesome guide. I can't believe I haven't seen this yet in my times at this forum.

I'm just wondering what happens when you gain a rank?
Do any of your stats increase also and is it documented somewhere by how much?

No, nothing happens other than the icon next to your name changes.
Ranking and Guild Icons

So in regards to ranks, the only thing there would be to document is how many rank points each rank requires. This I do not know, however the highest rank I've seen thus far (in the KR version of the game) is the 3 gold stars which requires 16,500,000 ranking points.

Contribution -> Rank Points

What is Contribution Point in Janus/TP used for??
and How to get the contribution Point? (By Killing/Damaging/Getting Hit)

Coz from my experience, the top killer not always become the top contributer.

Is there any scale for Contribution : Rank Points ?
(ex: 1000 Contribution means 100 Rank Points)

Please Explain it, kitten.. Thank you ^^

Pressing tab will select an enemy target.

Contribution Points are used to determine your place in the battleground (#1, #2, #3, ect) - they server no other purpose.
You get them by damaging the towers/boxes, killing other players, and if medic, healing other players.

Contribution Points and Ranking Points have nothing in common other than you get both when damaging another player - there is no scaling because Ranking Points received depends on the other player's rank.

2 points i'd like to make:
-pressing the TAB key will select the nearest enemy, pressing it several times will select a different nearby enemy. quite handy when trying to target a moving enemy. (pressing the "`~" key will select a friendly target-useful for a Medic)

-you may have noticed that your CP recharges quickly after respawning-but i've noticed something interesting: it's an area buff! that is, if you stay in the respawn area, your CP will keep recharging! the effect persists for up to 10 seconds after leaving, so if you wait about 12 seconds before leaving, you will be fully charged when you meet the enemy! this can make a big difference when the enemy players are trying to "spawn-camp" your team.
