Update Contents

Improvements to Tactics for Captain Unit


Rallying Cry

o Changed from a single large health boost to a series of smaller health boosts, taking effect over a longer period.
o Strength of health boost on the Captain unit is double that of surrounding units.
o A green plus sign + will now appear above all affected troops, with the animation repeating throughout the duration of the effect.
o Area of effect remains unchanged.

Arrow Volley

o Can now be targeted in the same way as catapult units, with the same maximum range.
o Changed from a single volley or arrows to multiple volleys, taking effect over a period of a few seconds (when played back at normal speed).
o The Captain unit responsible for the Arrow Volley will not move forward until the volley has begun.
o Arrows from the volley do more damage than regular arrows.

Battle Cry

o Duration of effect doubled.
o Units do increased damage to walls, buildings, and moats.
o Damage against other units remains the same.
o A red exclamation point ! will now appear above all affected troops, with the animation repeating throughout the duration of the effect.
o Area of effect remains unchanged.

Catapult Volley

o Can now be targeted in the same way as catapult units, with the same maximum range.
o Changed from a single rock volley to multiple volleys, taking effect over a period of a few seconds (when played back at normal speed).
o The Captain unit responsible for the Catapult Volley will not move forward until the volley has begun.
o Rocks from the volley do more damage than those fired by regular catapults.

Delay

o This power remains unchanged.

IMPROVEMENTS

Taskbar icon will now flash when incoming attacks are detected.
This can be turned off or on via the in game settings menu.

Faction members will now receive a report when their faction's relationship to another faction changes. (Set as friend, enemy, or neutral.)

House members will now receive a report when their house's relationship to another house changes. (Set as friend, enemy, or neutral.)

The leader of a house may now send a proclamation to all officers once per day.

End of Interdiction reports will only be generated once all of the interdiction time on the village runs out.

Made it easier to highlight and copy text in in-game mails.

Bug Fixes

Introduced a potential fix for faction generals spontaneously being removed from their faction.
Made changes to memory caching which may remedy the error some players reported when viewing their castle or battles whereby a red X would appear.
