I just looked at the ticket generation and it is not helpful at all for recovering an account that is banned from this forced password change.


Even if the person has an account from several years ago that they have not touched in 5+ years and can not remember any info to that account except for name.

Always nice to think forced password resets are a good idea, and help with effectively reducing customer support costs in a business model. In practice however, you now need more customer support to deal with the people you just screwed up.

I have not changed my pass since I registered on ijji back on 2007 , and I won't now.

I can't believe it's been almost 24 hours since my first password reset request. This is really frustrating. I've gotten password resets before to my comcast address....and I got the emails, from the same email address, about the account security changes.

It's never taken more than an hour to get these things in the past.

What gives?
