I'm sorry to write yet another stupid question but i couldn't find the answer in these pages.


I am making a pagan for 30 pvp. I have a wind ele II weapon and was using magic arrow to attack a wind ele goblin doing about 1k dmg (non crit) but then when using magic roots (earth attack) i was only hitting for 500 dmg.

My question is I thought an ele in the weapon made all attacks the same regardless of skill ele,
or am I just misguided.

Ele skill of pagans retain their elemental nature.

So root = earth 1 and other wind/earth/fire ele 1 skill still do ele 1 damage when used.

Weapon element only affects non-ele skills of pagans. In 30 pvp it would be magic arrow and missile salvo. There is a reason few plays mages/pagans in end game these days because only a few skills has ele 2 damage from weapon compared to all attacks from other classes.
