On: Aeriagames (short)

What I know, what I think, & what you will not read
Note: This isn't going to bash GMs and GSs, However, it aint sweet.
i will not reveal what i clicked. however, those who clicked 5 (not 3 or 4 but #5) either had but 20-30 posts and don't know what they are about to get themselves into or were buttkissing GS (not that all GS are buttkiss most serve their purpose, IF ACTIVE)

I highly doubt anything I have ever written on the forums have been read by GM's. Yes, Tickets are being read, but suggestions? No shot.
When a noteable player on DWO spoke on our behalf it was locked and the questions were publically danced around.
I do not blame the specific Team for it, no worker would purposefully do that, unless their superiors have commanded them not to.

The main problem, the source of all the "neglect" that is not only hitting hard on my game, Dynasty Warriors Online, but other games is the fact that GMs are spread too thin.
This is causing a trickle down effect. meaning slow communications, higher chance of failed promos and failed patches, lack of justice to the fair playerbase, and ultimately AGE distaste in the players mouths.

College students get their degrees in the Tech field all the time, how easy would it be to set up interships, and possibly take FRESH, EAGER, LEARNED, READY TO WORK College students off their campuses after graduation day and give em the starting job they had been hoping for. Truthfully IDK about what colleges are near the office, not too interested either, where there are colleges there are applicants (or pretty much anywhere else, but the applicants are more condensed there).

I believe that this will improve (not saying how much) with the much needed additions to the teams to reinforce a dry dry time here. I'm glad AGE is openly hiring. However I cannot and WILL NOT speak highly of AGE until i see the old days where people were sooo pro aeria for all the RIGHT reasons. not because they are new and unlearned or buttkissing.

I've read that other games like DWO need new ACTIVE GS's. WITH NEW GM's incoming NEW BETTER GS's should come as well. If anything is immediate, let it be this. THERE IS NO NEED TO DELIBERATE ANY LONGER. More moments without new staff, Both GM's and GS's are moments WASTED.

I am NOT saying that the GM's need to all get booted. NO, that would do far worse than the intent. They need HELP just like the players need Help.

I also feel AGE is not doing good business practices maintaining the games but ****... ive said my share already. Too bad as I said at the start, I think for a near fact that nobody is going to read this.

God Bless,
BOAN

a 1., simply because the lack of any hack prevention in ts2. As long that is the case, the game will never thrive. Moreover potential disaster looms for this game, as was demonstrated with the CP hack recently. Question is: Does management of AGE actually care? Experience tells me; No

You should come check out Lime Odyssey's forums recently

I wasn't really referring to just the forums if that's what you mean.
I bolded and italicized the word "recently" for emphasis. That just adds up against you. It's good that you posted all this information and generated the hype now, but you could've done it a lot sooner (ie: The recent display of effort doesn't really change my opinion. I'm sure any customer would feel the same). Activity can't just come and go. Either stick with a product or drop it if needed. I mentioned LO because it's the first one that popped in my mind, but there are similar issues with other games like SF (as a result of the game being somewhat abanded for the time being).

To me, it appears that LO is progressing very, very slowly.
I feel as though the rest of my post was ignored now.

Me thinks you completely ignored all the posts in this thread. A significant majority of them all address poor staffing/decisions made by Aeria, not about the games themselves. It's one thing to say a game is bad due to lack of content, which Aeria has no control over; it's another thing to say the staff is terrible which Aeria has complete control over. The problem is, the same issues are constantly brought up over and over and over and over again in nothing is ever done to fix them. I mean, look at Shaiya and how long it took to finally make some forward progress, albeit very little forward progress.

And don't get me started on LO. Finally posted information for us, after ditching us for over 6 months. It's absolutely pitiful when the player base can get information faster and spread than the actual Aeria staff, which I don't even know if LO has any that are solely dedicated to it anymore.

^ Good post.

feedback poll

There is too much lag in Shaiya, and the shaiya website it takes me 10 minutes to log in due to a glitch. I know I am not the only one with this problem but when I put a ticket in their response was i need a new browser. Seriously ? that is your answer when there quite a few people with the same problem using a variety of browsers. I know two people that use Opera and google and they have had problems longer than I have.

Oh. Re-reading my post I forgot to address the professionalness of Aeria.

I'm not sure about any other games--but with Grand Fantasia, we had a GM who was so unprofessional, it was unbelievable. It was no secret that he helped out his "friends" probably leaked some information. He also banned one of my friends for going AFK at an event, (where in GF, GM's have the power to move people. I've seen it happen) and also banned one of my friends for "event trolling" all he said was that the event could have been a bit more organized and BAM got the banhammer.

Then there was another GM who lasted about a week. Go. Figure.

Surely from these feedback polls it would show which games you should prioritize. DWO seems to be the most broken game as there have been major bugs for nearly 2 years yet no explanation has been given, 'some' other games complain about issues but the thing is they have population, DWO on the other hand has not and thats supposed to be a game with heavy amounts of population.

JP server - popular
CN server - popular
TW server - popular
ENG server - dead

when i say dead, i mean dead, probably just about 100 active players in each faction, or even less, the game is supposed to have AT LEAST 500 active players + in each faction.

All game modes are ruined due to people from around the world interfering, as aeria gaems being the publisher surely you advertise the game, which leads me to another question, why are you advertising a NA - EU based game to vietnam?

Something I forgot to put in my previous review, but I'll put it here, is how the events are run. Now I'm not talking about in-game events, that's another thing all together and something I don't even want to touch, but things that are run outside of the game. The two most recent SB events reminded me as to why I despise such things. Let me address two issues that I have with these:

Issue 1: Reliance on Facebook. I know this will come to shock to many of you, but not everyone has nor wants a facebook account. It's sad that a company as big as Aeria has to rely on a third-party website to do such events. I know what people are going to say "But you can create an account to do it then never touch it again" but that doesn't address the key issue at hand. The issue is that having a Facebook account should not be required to participate in some events.

Issue 2: Mobile games. While I commend you for wanting to advertise these by holding events, using a game that is only available on one platform is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard of. Going off of my previous issue, not everyone has Apple products. I for one will never purchase one, but that's another thread. Looking at the SB thread regarding the CBT reward (the logic of this is another thing entirely) for playing Pirate Maidens is heavily negative due to most people owning Android OS devices, the most popular mobile OS in the world; I'll provide a citation on this if requested. I do not mind these kinds of events, just use some logic and use one that is available for all operating systems. It's not that difficult to use logic people.

Rating for non-game Events: 2/5.

Sorry you got that impression, I'm just personally excited to be working on Lime Odyssey and bringing those gamers some fun adventures while we wait for Alpha so wanted to let everyone know we have not let LO drop. I (and many members of the staff) do take time to read these posts long before Superman0x reviews it himself and serves it up to the individual game teams. We generally don't actually respond here because this is a place for you the gamers to get stuff off your chest. So while I did read all of your post (and those of your fellows), the LO part in particular in your post just happened to apply directly to me and I felt the urge to reply.

Solely dedicated player here (of the many that are still here) /o

I'd like to see what you would tell the community when there is literally nothing to say, especially when Aeria isn't allowed to until Cykan gave an A-OK.

I'm glad that we're getting hype and events now, but could you imagine this? A whole year or 2 of just hype and events? Wow would I get bored. So it makes sense for it to come now thanks to Paladin.

Gosh, you guys really need to do some research on how things work, sure it would be nice to hear something from Aeria, but really all we would here is "We're alive". If you stayed around the community at all, you'd clearly know that their still alive as GMNyago pops around a lot EVEN though he's assigned to EE for now.

That's dedication.
