It could be your laptop overheating from the high CPU/GPU usage.
Make sure that the airvents don't have dust or anything obstructing it.
If you're unsure if it is due to overheating then you can download a software named RealTemp (
click here to download RealTemp) to test it.
Run RealTemp when your laptop is idle (not gaming) and when you play the game. If there is a big difference in the temperatures between the 2 then your laptop could be overheating (temperature when gaming needs to be close to 100 to cause shutdowns).
If its not due to overheating then you can try one of the following;
- Update all your drivers, this may be causing the problem since the drivers might not be suitable to play the game.
- Leave the laptop alone (Not gaming) for about half an hour or so to see if it shuts down, if it does shutdown even when you're not gaming then there may be a problem with your laptop and you should get it checked out.
- Make Sure that your laptop has enough voltage to support the game. some high graphic games will draw from your laptops current voltage so if there isn't enough your laptop will short circuit.
Hopefully one of these will solve your problem.
If none of them work then I'm not sure why this is happening...
