Of course, it could be random, but that wouldn't be too fun, right?

I somewhat have the assumption that the higher leveled opponent you defeat, the more brawl points you get. However, I've never really tested this, and would like to know if anyone knows about it.

but if there is actually an exact or an approximated formula for determining brawl points, I would sincerely appreciate it if someone could provide it for me.

BP is determined by level, atk and defense values. The higher your atk, the higher their def, and the higher their level increases your BP. Alas, we don't know the exact formula.
