can someone please explain how crit rate and damage is calculate.
i read in a guide when i 1st started that 100 crit is 3% chance.

but i have stopped believing that since i have over 2200 (66%) crit and can go a whole mp and crit maybe 6 times (not counting multi-shot) or go 5 rounds in a row vs wb using only arrow strike and delphic and not get 1 crit.

it just might be my badluck but want to know for sure.

As you level up the amount you need per % changes. Same with Block. Crit and Block are on the same type of system. Players level 80 have around 10k Crit and Block if Mage(crit)/Knight(block). 11.5k-12k Crit if Archer at lvl 80. And they don't get crits 100% of the time.

do you happen to know what should be average crit for a lvl 60 archer?
and does crit just increase rate or damage when u crit?

Only increases rate.

If you want to increase your crit damage, the only way to do so, as far as I know, is the Determination astral

There is no "right" number but if you're asking my advice, I'd say 2500 is a good number to shoot for at level 60.

I found another article that stated 1K crit = 3% increase, which seems more probably. My findings seem very similar to you, but with +500 more crit. My crits are very streaky, gone entire battles with arrow strike not criting and have almost every sinlge arrow strike crit. If you want good crits I would venture to guess 5 to 6K crit is a number you strive for.

The highest I have seen on this server checking out the high levels/BRs is around 3K crits, with room for improvement to possibly 3.5 to 4K.
