RvR Bridge camping idea

the solution?
I've thought up a neat idea that I think will get rid of the bridge camping. The solution is an incentive for players to stay at the top. The incentive I've come up with is, while sitting at the top, you would get 1 BP every 3 seconds. Giving a total of 600 BP for a 30 minute realm war. Anymore than this would cause an imbalance, and any less wouldn't be enough of an incentive to keep people at the top.

Let me know what you think.

Totally agree with this idea by Making players move to the top it def becomes more king of the hill less bridge camp

I think it is a good idea. It could take care of the camping issues aswell as give more people the incentive to show.

I like the idea, but what about the faction that isn't able to stay at the top? Currently, Dione wouldn't be able to get any GPs at all if the system was as you suggest.

this isn't a suggestion to fix the balance issue, just the camping problem. More people will show up if they can at least get into the battle and fight rather than being camped and killed as soon as they enter.

Incentive is always nice. The Devs and PM are planning on something to stop player from camping by the bridge.

its a good idea but with the size of the middle part of ruemon it wont accomodate all of the players and definitely will cause too much lag.

My suggestion, create an NPC that will teleport to Ruemon all those that will participate RvR, thus not enabling anyone to enter Ruemon without going through this NPC. Upon teleport, a player should spawn to the area in a random place and not spawn in one place to avoid ganking by enemy players upon spawning or to avoid waiting on 1 specific place. Every time a player dies he will be teleported back to town where everytown should have this NPC that teleports back a player back to ruemon. IMO, this will entice anyone to join RvR and it will also avoid or possibly remove camping.

I like the idea, but my biggest issue would be that this enables free 4800 BP a day, which means you could get 120+ BP a month, just in free points. Emtlant necklace costs 120k BP. If you add the free points plus kill BPs, we're talking maybe getting 2 top end emtlant accessories in one month.

And those accessories have enough Magic dodge to make casters worthless in pvp.
