Game closes after "Start Game" on launcher

Hello, Im new and really looking forward to play EE, but I cant since everytime I press Start game, the window closes
I have tried the following:
-reinstall
-reinstall from mirror
-DEP
-firewall
-antivirus
-launching from folder
-compatibility
and I dont think my drivers are the problem since I tried downloading Grand Fantasia and was able to open the game to the login page (although I couldnt connect/sign in)

Here is my dxdiag:

This isn't the first time I've seen an issue like this. I'm pretty sure it's your display device.

Integrated graphics, especially the Intel 4 Series chipsets always seem to have a problem installing or even launching the game. All of your other specs hit the requirements except that, as integrated graphics are usually poor quality. Unless somebody else sees something that I don't, I'd have to point my finger in that direction.

The only thing I can really think of is to go to Intel and update your graphics, using that link to auto-detect your hardware, or you can do it manually if you'd like by going to their website and looking it up yourself.

I also found this as it seems to have been discussed already. You can try running your computer in Safe Mode but that seems like more of a stab in the dark than anything.

I really don't have any other suggestions to at least get the game to pop up after you start it other than those two, except to make sure you aren't using any other unnecessary memory via idle programs or otherwise.

Not to sure what else to say except to try to turn down all your settings to as low as possible before trying to start the game. Hopefully, though, somebody can figure out if that's the issue or not and we can get you going on the game.

Okay today I was actually able to open the game
i think it was because of my anti virus
instead of adding the program to the exception list, i turned it off (risky, but it works!)

now my new problem is that i can't connect {Cannot connect to server} at login
haha... Confused

If your firewall or antivirus has updated recently, that would be the first place I would check.

Have you checked your modem/Internet firewall recently? It might be at too high a security level and is blocking access to the game.

I allowed EE through firewall
it might be my connection :/
i did a tracert and it was over 300 at a certain point while the other points were low
[is it ok to go off topic here? xP]
