fixed my issues see -
http://www.aeriagames.com/forums/en/viewtopic.php?t=1898137 useful for users whop can't get the emblem working if they have installed the game to a directory other than the default C: drive
also it must be 24 bits per pixel as stated, if you make it 32 bits per pixel as Bryan.Fury suggests it doesnt show the graphic in game, i know cos i tried it...lol
