mineral Port?

On the map of Juno in the bottom right corner, there's a spot called the Mineral Port with 2 crossed pickaxes. Is this where I go to mine stuff?

Also I'm looking for the Energy spot which is supposed to be North-north-east of the town, so I searched and searched, but I don't even know what I'm looking for. Why can't they mark the map with icons or something so at least we won't go bumping into high level aggros that eat us alive!

Yes you are correct about where you go to mine stuff. As well the energy spot is straight south of town, you see that Stone in bottom/centre of map? That is where you go for energy collection, so just head straight south for energy, and go to the mineral port with 2 crossed pickaxes to mine.
