Helpful tips on how to avoid getting scammed!

Aeria Games would like to remind you that you should be wary when making online deals. Here are some helpful tips and hints on how to keep the things that are yours.

  • Don't lend out your gear to anyone. For any reason. Not to borrow so they can see what it looks like, not to hold for you while you go on vacation, and definitely not to fortify. Everyone has the same chances of a fortification success.

  • Never give out your account info. Again, your account info is like the password to your safe. Just because you think you can trust someone to level your account doesn't mean that they're going to keep up their end of the bargain. We get countless tickets about stuff like "Oh, I let my friend borrow my account and now he changed my password and won't give it back."

  • If a deal is too good to be true, it is. A common tool scammers use to lure you in is the promise of better equipment, trading up, or other forms of pretty much making your life better in return. Do not fall into their traps.

  • NEVER trust any site that claims to give you free coins, energy stones, or anything else! Aeria keeps a tight control on their servers. Sites that promise things like this are what are called "phishing" sites. They get you to enter your account information, then once you do they take your account, log in and take your things.

Be vigilant in keeping your account safe, secure, and your own!

They probably want ways to become really advanced in the game, without actually working for it. But like Zeal said, If something seems too good to be true, it probably is!

we should have that "Never Give Out Your Password Event" like Paladin did or was it Dantine not sure but you just go into leauge battle or sport and you SS yourself telling another player

"Aeria Games will never ask for your password. Please do not ever give it out."

or

"GMs & GSs will never ask for your password. Please do not ever give it out"
