That is perfectly understanding if it needs to change. Places like America is just terrified by nipples. However I want to point out that things like swimsuits that are skin tight but does not display the child as naked, is and have always been perfectly accepted in every game.
However, I guess string/thong like designs could benefit from a "broadening" of the rear side.
Are we on the same track here? Or are you thinking more extreme changes like "Can't show bellybuttons!" like Tera went for? (I still haven't grasped what part of child bellybuttons is porn... but maybe I'm just out of the loop)

Anything is erotic to someone with the right fetish. Find that article about the Japanese guy who was doing "stuff" to people's parked cars for a good example.
What is boring for one person is porn for another, which is one reason why creating a moral exception to free speech and expression laws merely for the sake of banning "porn" of fictional children is so dumb.
If you want to make absolutely certain that paedophiles can't masturbate to your game (a noble goal, to be sure) then it's best to remove all child-like characters completely. Whipper would have to go too since she looks sort of teenager-ish compared to the other ladies.
This is mostly irrelevant to Aeria though. They'll do what they have to, and only have to decide between butchering the sent' completely or respecting the dev's artstyle.
