all are pretty fun

ff7 - sepiroth is just cool
ff8 - cute romance
ff9 - great mini games

but PSP dissidia is pretty addicting too...I brought the new PSP combo purely cause of the game ^^

My fav is between FFX and FFVII Crisis core

On-topic: FF7 for sure. Was the first PS1 game I ever got and made me fall in love with the Final Fantasy series. Each character was given such a deep storyline to them~

On-topic: FF8. The handsome Squall and beautiful Rinoa were the ones absorbing me into Final Fantasy realm. In other words, FF8 was the first FF series I played because Squall and Rinoa are just my type.

The first one I played was Final Fantasy XII, and it's still my favourite. I love the plot in this one. ♥

I would have to say FF7, FF8 and FF9. And Tactics if I'm wanting to go even older school. I miss doing that JP Glitch on the FF Tactics for the Playstation. Good times, good times.

First two that I played that still remain my favorite are X and 7.
