Dos and Don'ts of asking for help on the Tech Issue board.

Simple etiquette.
DO:


  • Be as descriptive as you can.
  • Be polite and friendly.
  • Provide information when you asked for it.
  • POST IN THE CORRECT BOARD.


DON'T


  • Instantly rage at Aeria because you are experiencing a tech issue.
  • Call people names, we're not in kindergarten people.
  • Refuse help from people if they are not a GM nor GS. Chances are players can help just as much.
  • Don't be offensive. (Yes, this needs to be said.)
  • Don't automatically disregard an option to solution because it seems difficult, if you don't know how to do something, just ask! One of us would be more than glad to tell you how!!


Now, as a mini guide for this.

Whenever you have multiple issues, please put them in the same thread. This is to make things more organized, and it will help you to have a more organized response as well.
If you see that someone has the same issue as you DO NOT post in that thread with your issue. Please make your own thread about it.

Also, please put as much information about your tech issue as you can. Include DXDIAGs, what you were doing when you received this error, WHAT THE ERROR ACTUALLY IS.
