They do something like banning the scammer.

But scammed victim wants their item back, thus they think Aeria do nothing at all.

People just have to understand Aeria cannot give your item back, but they will do something to punish the scammer.

Aeria could give you your stuff back. They can make it out of thin air. BUT then people would scam Aeria.

I have mentioned that before, and it's definitely a possibility if all just based on "he-said-she-said" like Hi-C said.

We know how easy it is to make alts here, and it doesn't even have to be a real e-mail, which is why people can create spy char right away seconds before cp starts, every single time.

Unless something can change about how easy it is to create account on Aeria, I doubt Aeria policy will change regarding scamming issue. For whatever it's worth, it does try to teach us to be very careful when dealing with people online.

hey hey hey,,, they clearly say in the Terms of Service that ingame trades between players is at the players own risk. That's all that needs to be said.
does not mean when valid proof is shown action cannot be taken.

Does not mean they advertise action whenever it is taken.

Also, like you said, a lot of the scammed victims want there items back. However, the cold hard truth is that the scammer might be punished, but in the end, they STILL succeed in taking your r6 I. Rod of the Gods. And chances are you'll either never get it back, or you WILL get it back RIGHT after paying half a million gold at the broker for it.

A lot of victims, and some vigilantes, decide that scamming is the solution to being scammed. Hey, maybe NiuBloc will post a scamming revenge policy that everyone can emulate. *crosses fingers*

Finally, @dxpoo: I stand by what I said before in other threads: this community (save for those that I won't mention) LACKS common sense, which said lack of common sense is EXACTLY what a scammer needs to scam people. So yes, in the end it IS the scammed person's fault for letting themselves get scammed in the first place. And Hi-C even said that if people are still getting scammed by those they don't know and choose to trade with anyway, despite numerous warnings, that's on them.

*recalls people buying false bbed weapons despite the fact that he made a thread advertising the existence of any he, and a few others, found*
