I know that default gear really isn't something that is discussed in these kinds of fps games, but I figured that these kind of balance discussions should be brought to light due to the fact there are no perm weapons besides our default gear.
I myself am not a fan of rental weapons and I've been struggling to get along with the default weapons and armor (bar ranger's), what kind of tweaks do you think should be made to the default gear to make them more leveled with purchased gear?
Tweaks needed: a larger pellet count, faster fire rate, tighter spread, increased damage per pellet, or a combination of any of the tweaks
Ranger: PMC - M4
Tweaks: No apparent weakness that are addressable, slightly op due to its high accuracy and 1shot headshot
Sniper: M24 SWS (Semi-auto)
Tweaks: Either increase its magazine size to 15, or make it a 100% damage bolt action because the Dragunov outclasses this gun in every possible way.
Heavy Fire: M249
Tweaks: Increase its stability to 40% and increase damage to 35%, the M249 should have the highest stability of the LMGs as no other LMG in this class comes close to its stability stat, but its stability is shot in the foot with its poor damage output
Dual Gunner: Dual Uzi
Tweaks: Buff accuracy to 90% but decrease RoF to 40% or damage to 15%
These are just my opinions and not reflective of the meta-game as a whole, what kind of changes do you think should be added to make the default gear a little bit more... erm... usable?
