Grand Fantasia : The Journey of the Heroes

Some sort of Fan fiction mixed with the content from the games ^.^ please read if you have time
So, Uhm. I want to create a fan fic of Grand Fantasia. Everything are works of fiction, especially the names and some of the story. I'll mix the story line from the quests and some contents of the game. I just want to share this something like a prologue to start my story. I wish everyone can appreciate my work ^_^

~~~~~
The Day of Destiny is coming near.
It was a dark day in Siwa Island, the home of the sprite messengers. Sprite messengers are everywhere, but the most successful came from this little island.
Elizabeth, a pregnant mother who always sits somewhere near ashore. She always looks at the clear sea. Her brother, Paris, is an alchemist. He always works but always keeps an eye on her sister.
One day, skies turned darker. Elizabeth feels something; it’s something in her womb. She screamed in pain and Paris ran after her. She brought her sister to Ludaumann, the village head. A midwife came also and does the work.
Elizabeth had born a baby boy. As the boy was given to his mother, the dark skies disappeared as a holy light shines above Siwa Island. Babama, the great sage of the island arrived on the village. He mumbled, “He is the one, the one who will save Saphael.”
People from the shoreline of the continent sighted the light. Reports from Blue bay, Ironwheel beach, and Shell hill that the light is fantastic and gives hope. Villagers from Bone Reef Peninsula and the fishermen in the Southern Island saw the light too. They say it was amazing as they had never seen such light before.
Elizabeth named her first son, “Ace” as he was the first one and will be the ace of the sprite messengers. She promised to raise her child as a good person and train him to become a great sprite messenger.
And as soon as Ace was born, the day of destiny awaits. Babama was counting as he see the great hopeful future of the world.
Chapter 1 - Ace is my name.
Chapter 1
“Hi Ace!” a voice of a girl shouts my name. I looked back; it was Iris, my childhood friend.
Uhh, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Ace by the way. I was around 16 years old, going 17. Yes, I’m still a novice. I’m training myself when I was a child, to prepare for something they call the day of destiny. Up to my age, I really don’t understand what that day is.
My dream is to become like my father, he was a great warrior of Kaslow Army. I want to continue his dream, his goal, and his achievements. I want to become like him, I want my mother to be proud of me, as well as Siwa Island.
So here’s Iris. She was my childhood friend; she’s 15 years old, going 16. She was a kind, innocent girl. But I never underestimate her, as she is so intelligent that once I let her get inside of my mind, she’ll know what I’m thinking.
“Ace, are you alright? Why do you stare at me?” She raised her eyebrows.
“N-nothing. I just feel awkward, something might have changed with you?” I asked.
“No. Oh, well. I might have become more beautiful. Isn’t it?” She asked me. I was about to blush, and as I blush, I feel shy that I don’t know what to react.
“Ah-uh-Yes!” I answered quickly.
“Yes, you’re beautiful.” We heard a voice of a man. We looked and we saw Bryan, my childhood-rival/friend. He is my rival in everything, training, competition, and even with Iris.
“Oh, thank you both of you, it made me feel okay! And because of that, I will bake you guys some cupcakes. Wait for me, please?” She smiled and run back to her home.
Bryan just smiled. I talked to him, “So what are you doing here?”
He answered, “Nothing, just chilling around and hoping to get some score with Iris.” He smirked.
I felt bad though, but I ignored him. I’m getting pissed with him.
“Alright, fine. Just tell Iris that I’m going to that Old Babama.” He left me and walked towards our sage, Babama on his cottage.
After 15 minutes, Iris arrived, running back to me, with her cupcakes.
“Hey!! This is the cupcakes, taste it!!” She’s running and didn’t notice that a rock is on her way.
I stand and tried to stop her, “w-wait!”
Too late. She fell … on me.
My back hurts, and she’s on my top. The cupcakes rolled over the grassy part.
“Sorry.” She stands up. Both of us blushed but I didn’t show it to her. I picked the cupcakes and taste one of it. It wasn’t dirty and it taste good!
“I like your cupcakes.” I like you.
She answered, “Yes. It was for you and Bryan.” Because I like you.
“W-wait. Where’s Bryan?” She asked me.
“Oh, he left us a while ago and went to Sage Babama.” Please stop talking about him, I’m getting jealous.
“Aww, I hope he was able to taste some cupcakes too. Anyway, I’m going to Muha. Would you like to come?” She asked me to go with her, and I won’t hesitate to do so.
“Yes. I have some unfinished business with him.”
“What’s that unfinished business? I’m going to change class already.”
She was going to change class? With me? Oh it’s great we’ll both change our classes.
I nodded on her and both of us run and chased each other like we were kids back then.
We didn’t realize we reach Muha’s home and he was staring on us.
“You two, you’ll conquer anything as long as you two will join each other and stay close.” He explained.
Iris looked left and I looked right.
We both blushed again but I ignored it again.
“Hey muha, I have decided my path.”
“What? In that short amount of time?” Muha was surprised.
“Yes. And I’m going to be a fighter!”
Iris smiled at me and Muha too.
“You’ve chosen to be a fighter, eh?” He raised his eyebrow first.
He added, “Good, good. It’s a path specializing in close combat and battles. I think it suits you.”
He looked at me, head to toe and realized I have a fit body and a strong mind to become a fighter.
“Are you sure to become a fighter?” He asked me.
“Yes. I’m sure with it.” I answered confidently.
He registered me as a fighter and he asked me to pick a blueprint. I picked the sword specialist blueprint as he said that someone chose the axe specialist blueprint. He handed me an earth metal fragment and a Magic adhesive.
He talked to me and said, “To become a fighter, you’ll start basic metal armor and fighting enemies with close-range weapons. You have to keep training until you become a skilled warrior. It’ll be a challenging path, just so you know. When you reached the right level, you can register yourself as a real Warrior.”
He added, “In addition, the class transfer will help you open your first talent card slot – The Earth Talent. Bring the materials and the blueprint you’ve selected to the alchemist and he’ll help you synthesize a talent card. The alchemist is your uncle in the hut right next to the pier. Go find him!”
I just smiled and wait Iris to approach Muha.
“Uhm, Muha. I have decided my path too.” She humbly said.
“Well, it’s same as Ace. What is it?” Muha asked her.
“I want to be an Acolyte.” She confidently answered.
We were both shocked as Iris persuades Muha to do the class change.
“You’ve chosen the Acolyte’s road, hm? Acolytes are a class that specializes in healing and battle logistics. I think it suits you.”
Muha is right; it’s Iris’ compassionate and kind personality that will help her become a great acolyte.
“Maybe you want to indulge in sin a little before walking the holy road, so just talk to me again whenever you’re ready to begin your Acolyte anointing.”
“But I want to become an acolyte now!!” She raised her voice.
“Okay, okay. I thought you were still undecided.” He grinned.
She was asked to choose what blueprint. Hammer or staff blueprints? I think she picked the hammer. She was handed with the same materials I’m holding right now.
“To become an Acolyte, you’ll learn divine magic and become more adept at healing skills. You have to keep training until you become a skilled priest. Make sure you brush up on your prayers. Be on the right level so you can undergo the rites to become a real Priest.” He smiled to us.
We walked towards my uncle, Paris. He was the alchemist here. He finished the blueprint into talent cards in a short amount of time. We used the talent cards and felt like something was inside of me, that I learned something.
And this is the start of our journey; I take the path towards the dreams and goals of my father. I am ace, and I will save the world.
