Whatever you do in the windows or to your mouse to disable the acceleration, will be always there no matter what.

heres the solution: MarkC Win7 Mouse Fix

The tutorial is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsxRJO_p2wc

Laser mice in my experience are notorious for skipping around (especially if they are on certain surfaces) compared to standard optical mice. I would suggest (if possible) switching to optical only. Wired mice are also more reliable than wireless, I've found. Quicker response time and all that.

Idk dude.. Response is pretty high in this mouse i'm currently using. Even in wireless mode.

Gaming mice may be different then--I don't have experience with those. I typically use low-cost mice, like the MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. Currently using a $8 walmart mouse that doesn't need drivers Smile

Glad your mouse is responsive, however. I have a wireless MS laser mouse that is very unreliable, which is what I based my response on.

he already wrote that his mouse has an optical AND a laser sensor..
so when the laser doesnt work on a surface, the optical will..
