it is in progress. i have gotten ap so far Smile so they are doing payouts. just soo many ppl in event ^^ just be patient ^^

im not sure what to do with the AP, i dont think we can use it in MP

No. It can not be used in MP. I hope sometime soon that can be possible but right now, it can't.

Personally, I would like to see AP being used for Monster Paradise.
But like others have said it is not possible at this time. :[
