How do you make a Signature?

Heya guys! i still haven't figured this out, but i see alot of people with signatures. So please tell me how to make it, preferably step by step...

It depends on what program you want to use if you're actually Creating one.

As for having one here on the forums, you must go to the drop-down menu under your name and click Settings.
From Settings, click on About Me.
Scroll all the way down to the last box, labeled Signature.

There you can put a IMG code, such as this for example:

[IMG]http://i138.photobucket.com/Cerberus.png[/IMG]


The IMG has to be in the frame of 700 x 200 or less.

Then click Submit.

You can use Photoshop, Gimp, Photobucket, Paint Tool Sai, and various other programs.

i used paint, a screenshot of my CBT character, and an odd font to make mine. Cool

in addition to the steps above, you'll need to upload the sig to a hosting site like photobucket or imageshack. then copy/paste the link from there into your sig spot in your profile.

Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints...

i did all this but im only gettin a code? why

Hello theawsomekidd! For future reference, please do not revive old threads. ^_^

To display a signature, you need to first upload a picture from your computer to an online source such as Imgur. On this site, click on Computer, select the file you wish to upload, and press Start Upload. Once that is finished, there will be a few links on the right hand side of the page. Copy the BBCode link, which should have [img] [/img] tags on either side of your image link.

Then, on these forums, go up to your name and select Settings. From there, click on About Me and scroll down to place your image link. Enter the required security code below that and save your settings. Your signature should work now!
