This.

Although I don't often post negative comments, the times I do, I do not hear anything about it, simply because negative comments can still be seen as valuable when nicely constructed.

"Aeria screwed it up because they don't listen to the community" or "I think Aeria has made some wrong moves, simply listening to the community would've prevented that", which comment do you think would be frowned upon, removed or will be talked with (the person behind it, if it's a GS)?

both. I have used both approaches (not word for word and in relation to different things) They were almost always removed.

I agree im not the best with words but i can approach a subject from both angles and comment on them in each fashon shown here. As i did.

But ok as i say, im bad with words, perhaps i worded my last post a little badly. The fact remains though, Areia doesn't want its GS's publicly posting negetive feedback.

This post

http://www.aeriagames.com/forums/en/viewtopic.php?t=1569017

Was first posted in LastChaos General where it clearly did not belong

3 people posted in the thread pointing this out

Those posts were removed and the thread stayed

It was pointed out yet again

Finally it was moved to where it should have been in the first place

This GS KNEW it was in the wrong place but thought because he was a GS he could do as he liked

This is just the type of thing that I wanted to highlight

In LC Forums we get alot of you posted in wrong place it gets moved straight away

(Unless posted by a GS)

Someone with power doesn't like what is being said the thread gets locked

They think the post is irelevent or not LC based it gets locked

Before we had plenty of people posting in the forums

Now hardly anyone bothers anymore

As we know what will happen

I agree. I hate seeing Andaro's spam threads about groups which he seems to make every new month.

I understand having a little fun, but there's having fun and there's being an annoyance. No one appreciated his threads being spammed all over the place. The groups feature sucks as it is (but that's a whole different rant).

I hope you have actually talked to Andaro about it directly before making this rant. From what I've seen Andaro is a somewhat reasonable person. i expect if he's made aware of how annoying his spam threads are they will stop, or be at least kept to the correct forum section (ie; aeria Odds and Ends)

He has been made aware of it on more than one occasion

But as far as he is concerned he can do what he likes

And by the way I don't have to talk to anyone if I don't want to

This is a Rant section, a place to get things off your chest about things that are annoying you[b]

Hello Lord and I must sadly disagree. This has been pointed out politely and constructively twice by me and on both occasions my posts were deleted. One occasion not even relating to a post by an individual but generally explaining forum use.

That matter was dealt with and I was assured it would not happen again. It did.

The second one was again not picking on an individual but generally asking all in authority to set example and specifically saying not one post or one poster but all.

Hence my comment above in earlier post here.

well, that sucks.

Disregard my defence of andaro in my previous post, then. If he's been talked to multiple times about it there's really no excuse :/

Well now I have broken my own golden rule of not singling out an individual's behaviour. Ah well I am human and still very angry re yesterday situation so forgive me all but there comes a point.
