Lulz TV is not dangerous. You choose to turn it on or off.. Dont be silly.
If many kids are affected by TV is cause their parents are too lazy / busy to give them a better education.
Dont blame TV or kids , blame parents in any case lol.

Read the posts. We're blaming both. Even if a parent is astute at monitoring what their kid is exposed to, they cannot keep their eyes on the kid 24 hours a day. It takes 10 seconds of typing online for a kid to find a show that their friends at school are talking about. It takes a remote control and a bad switch of TV channels for them to see something on TV. It takes falling asleep in your chair at 10 pm and your kid getting up for a drink, while you have ShowTime on. There are plenty of scenarios where parents cannot be in the control where they would want to be.
But then there's the parent that's addicted to Saw, Family Guy, and Zombie movies, and never turns them off. That's called trainwreck phenomenon, and guys are far more prone to it than women. Yes it is our fault. But if you checked a video store 10 years ago and checked one now, you'd be surprised how different they were. Horror took up 3-4 isles 10 years ago. Now, it takes up nearly 10-20 isles, and in some cases 80% of the store. Family "Videos" actually only takes up one corner of Family Video Rental Displays now. Some stores even store their videos by production author or alphabetically, which means there are 8 bad videos sitting right next to good ones. The XXX content videos are beginning to be moved up to the front showroom, rather than being in a back room.
It's both parents and the media.
