I've seen a lot of people say LO is going to be "dated" when it eventually comes out. I don't really get this O_O
As far as I know there's not going to be some massive shift in the F2P market soon that will change gaming forever. Short of this, I don't really see how Lime could become "dated" no matter how long it takes. But then, I don't really care about how a game stands up to others, as long as it's good xD

It's not just that, other F2P companies have got loads of new games ready to dish out even before LO comes out, and let people get cosy there, a few high end developers are now deciding they want to test and create F2P games as well.

2012 is the sci-fi F2P generation, there will be a nice amount of Sci-Fi games coming out, so LO isn't in that genre of all those competing games. Beyond that, LO is being revamped and is the first game of a new company, so it won't be dated, in fact it'll be pretty modern for an anime MMORPG, so it'll be fine against new competitors, so to say that by the time this game is out that, it'll be dated makes no sense. Especially since their adding/upgrading/changing things.
It's like saying developing any game and then releasing it will make it outdated :S remember, LO was announced while in development, so it may feel longer to us, but this is the normal amount of time it takes you know?
