This is troubling to hear.... I usually play DPS Warrior (Arms In Wow, Rift Etc). Me and tanking are very familiar buddies, but If I can't tank for my guild I am not needed, which makes me a liability and a waste of space.... And if AOE's are anything like they are in EE (shudder.... so much useless running back and forth, and kiting... kiting should be something a tank never has to do, especially when he/she has a healer) then Idk.... :/ I guess I won't know until I see for myself.

2h warrior can bearly handle tanking normal mobs never mind bosses, 1h warrior is the only way to go for a tank that can both take hits and hold aggro. As far as kitting goes they are some bosses where kitting is needed and some where it isen't.
You should always try and take the minimum ammount of damage possible so your cleric as enought room to heal other party members if something goes wrong and not have to concentrate on you constantly. You shouldn't be relying on a random crit heal or spiritual solace to fix everything if your tanking the boss wrong.
Smach dosen't work whit 1h weapons and honestly i never had to use lions roar, it felt like a waste of points after i got divine shield but that's really up to you.
