Drop Hunting - Golden Glasses - 6th Seal !

Hey guys ,

is it only me or its being hard to DH even by using LSB + LS + IDB , wasting like 100 IDBs for only 10-15 drops and most of them when you use the Golden Glasses all you get is yellow /green gear and once you get the proper Blue sealed gear ( which is after like 400 IDBS) its cast up without the 6th casty seal speedy without the speed seal Arkane without the casty seal and Anti-stun without the stun seal....etc ? is it a must not to use ROE to get the 6th seal ?


Tell me what you think i have not got the 6th seal in almost 4 month now of drop hunting and I used 3k IDBs and i always DH with LSB+LS+IDB i tried all subs at different timings , tried when servers are crowded and when they are empty , tried in party( CP and General) and solo

i totally aggree,

my opinion is that drops with cast are not available in the moment.
Thats just rumors, the cast equip you see came from 4bil item shop tool which allows to add a 6. seal of your choice.

But maybe only at one special day a month in a special hour these drops are available, who knows ?

There is also rumors about akan book drops, i killed around 200 bosses in groups of 2-6 and
i never saw a book dropping.

if this post sounds a little frustrated, then i could hide my emotion really good....

youre a bit unlucky

for me, it has taken me about 1k IDB to drop a cast or speedie, only one of these missing one eva seal
but, that was a year ago, things could be changed now

Been a long time since i dropped hunt for blue stuff, that was quite fun, it wasn't so hard in strayana and ebony mine.

However from what ive heard trums drop rate is horrible right now.

And no, while some may think, this is not a disguised move to make players buy ROE xD

Drop hunting became a joke about 1year ago where you could had made 100-170mill profit per hour thats with - expenses of pots. Now ever since they introduced the 165 and 175 lvl caps drop hunting got flushed down the toilet and is pretty much a waste of time and money. U said u wasted 3k idb + the other potions. Well in my server you could had bought a b6e cootime helment and speedies for about the same amount of all those items if u sold em.

I was in trum awhile back and managed to drop a pair of knight lvl 77 -10 boots on my first drop,but who needs them if everyone is plvling past that range of levels?

Yes the drop rate seems a bit absurd compared to the upgrade gear rates which I think are on the same percentage,but I've been seeing alot of drops for the -10 gear and most of it is the defense stats.

It would be beneficial if what jota snuck in his last comment if the drop rates were improved for the elusive 6th seals and not just upgrading them with the Roe which is easily come by from buying ap.

Well over the past like two weeks i have been drop hunting the 75-77 gear. Mostly because i miss drop hunting. It was my favorite thing to do on LC.

My luck has been good though. I have done maybe 1-2 hours a day and have dropped atleast one b6e piece each day. Several pairs of rogue speedies, knight speedies, mage speedies even some sorc and titan casties.

Then last night i decided i would take a stroll to harpies in stray and start workin on dropin my 105-107 set. I have heard a good amount of talk about harpies having a decent drop rate.I discovered this is not the case.

I figured it wouldnt be as good as the ghosts in eggy. Their drop rate has always been great.That is why players gold farmed there long ago. But the drop rate of harpies was terrible. If players are saying that is a GOOD drop rate...im scared to see what the devs have done to drop rate on the rest of the mobs.

The harpies were nothing like i remember as far as drop rate is concerned. Then again i have not really drop hunted since they brought ns out and changed everything up.

Something needs to be done badly though. Drop huntin is an awesome pass time. Second best to pvp in my opinion. But if you guys are talking about a new class coming in the future...you may wanna fix the drop rate before you toss yet another character classes armor into the mix.We have a hard enough time finding anything decent for the 7 classes we have now(without the purchase of an roe. really need to get rid of them things). Just a thought

I recently started drop farming in tomb because I have too much free time... and I find 95-97 set to be very scarce. I've done 3 hours so far (LSB+LS+IDB+Random Drop Booster), In my first hour i got two b6e (sorc cast helm mage -10 boots) second hour -10 mage gloves and some b6c things. But my 3rd hour no b6 anything and 1 b5e drop. Each hour consisted of a rough guesstimate of 150ish IDB and 30-50 actual armour drops.

Edit: 4th hour got myself yet another b6e, Mage CD Helm. The elusive b6e is possible.

I made profit just from my cast helm in first hour but that was pretty **** lucky.

I drop farm a lot and enjoy it, every single mob has a different success rate imo.
Easiest mob i ever farmed on was judge ballocks in misty canyon..5-10 b5e per hour, and the odd b6e, **** that felt good. Very Happy

Worst was alma in floraims ... Hate them! Evil or Very Mad

Harpies in strayana USED to have an amazing drop rate, however now the harpies in ebony mine have that drop rate (but drop garbage mostly and are meant for gold farming). I still drop farm strayana randomly, as well as Trum, ToF, and Vladimir maps. Always have loved drop farming, successfully or otherwise.
