Hi,

Does anyone know why Sneak doesn't work most of the time? I won't touch any monsters nor attack them, but a few seconds after being in Sneak mode, I still get attacked. Is there a certain limit or restriction to the skill that would cause monsters to instantly pull me out of it?

If you get to close to a rare boss, dungeon mobs, or if normal one walk right over you.

Yeah for a second, then they'll attack me and pull me out of the skill.

If I remember correctly, Sneak is only temporary in terms of keeping you hidden from monster's aggro. Hidden Force is what will keep you out of combat when you run by monsters but it's only 12 seconds.

Also, sneak only works all the time on mobs lower than your level.

The problem I have with Sneak is when in a dungeon the TANK will aggro and that puts in me automatically in combat which takes me out of stealth...

sneak is one of those useless skills that is not worth to put points into in this game
with that much movement speed reduction, and easily cancel if teammate enter combats, plus the crit gain for sneak isn't much either
so yea-.- if it's for traveling just go on your mount, for crit HF(still not worth putting point into) would be a better option.

Sneak is really useful, but more so at high levels and only at PvP. I used it, didn't see a huge change in Crit Rate and stopped leveling it. Then, I square off against a level 65 Thief who maxed out Sneak and buffed up to about 70% Crit Rate, where every little bit counts.

The Crit Rate only lasts for one attack, but it only took one to smash me with a 15k Crit.

Sneak only works when your 1 higher level than the monster ur trying to avoid. I use sneak when I'm around those little boss monsters and they don't attack me if I'm a higher level than them. Its really useful if you know how and when to use it.
